Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park
Such an underwhelming stay for us!Staff were incredibly rude!When the waiter was fixing the mistake he made (giving our cheeseboard to the table next to us) he was rude and obnoxious towards us. The cheeseboard he delivered to us was some cheese thrown on a board with 5 crackers and a dot of quince paste with a heap of raisins thrown on and falling off the sides..not a $30 cheeseboard!The front of house staff were either miserable or just plain rude.The housekeeping staff walked into our room twice, the first we were woken by, the second time with me standing in my underwear in the sitting room - To ask when are we checking out…we had late check out of 4pm… I don’t understand how our privacy was broken and not valued when your system would of showed we were not checking out until 4pm!!The room - It’s old and Dated, scuffed, scratched & faded furniture and doors. Water pressure in the shower is non existent. The bed is lumpy and uncomfortable.The lounge/seating - Disgustingly dirty we did not touch them or sit on them as they were so stained…looked like they came in from a dumpster. The cushions don’t even fit the lounge!!This was a one night stay…we won’t be back.Maybe a rundown 3 star hotel not a 5 star!!

Our room had no air con and our stay was torture. Promised a fan, no fan came. We have been battling the hotel to get a response to our complaint for weeks. Their customer service has been appalling. I shouldn’t have to call, email and chase them! Beyond fed up with this hotel. Only stayed there for the location. Their rates are a complete rip-off too. Never again!

I want to be able to give the Pullman 5 stars, but they just aren't doing the little things correctly at the moment. I don't know if it was because it was a particularly busy weekend that we were there, or if they were still having issues with their new system. I was travelling with a platinum Accor member and when we checked in, we weren't given any information about the benefits that the platinum membership should give us. Things like breakfast, the executive lounge, the special wifi etc, was never explained and we had to check the Accor website to see what was available. We didn't get our replacement waters every day and it took us 3 attempts to get our cards to access the executive lounge. When we enquired about this, we were told that the membership was only showing silver on their system. It was like it knew about the platinum membership for some things and not for others. The rooms are of a high enough quality, but are now starting to show their age a little. The air conditioning in the room also doesn't seem to be as efficient as we have had in other hotels. The staff are usually very friendly and are happy to help in all situations. I can recommend the buffet breakfast, as the food seems to be of high quality and very fresh. The location of the hotel is amazing if you are attending any events at Sydney Olympic Park, as it is walking distance to most venues. If the Pullman could just polish up some of the little things, this would be a definite 5 star rating.

The hotel was just lovely, the staff, and amenities were perfect. I would have rated them 5-stars but I have to say the restaurant 'Bacar' was a disappointment (will leave a separate review on their page) so (sadly) they lose a star in my opinion for that.As far as the hotel goes, check-in was swift and friendly, the receptionist was lovely and asked if it was a special occasion, it was (our wedding anniversary) so generously offered us complimentary parking. There was a chilled bottle of champagne and petit-fours waiting for us in our room which was lovely and ample (we booked the Executive King Suite for our special occasion). Nothing was a problem and staff were all friendly and happy to oblige. No pool sadly (the hotel directory simply directs you to the several large and ample Olympic swimming venues within a stones-throw of the hotel.Loved it, would stay again, might give the restaurant a miss next time and check out some of the other fine restaurants in the Sydney Olympic Park quarter.

Update:I visited this hotel today and asked to see my room where I stayed. They said the room was dirty. I informed them that I don’t mind seeing a dirty room and that I just wanted to inspect the smell of SEWERAGE due to their reply to my review. The receptionist called someone and informed them which room I stayed in. It was from that moment on that I waited roughly 30mins. I think anyone with basic common sense would notice what happened here.Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park is a disgrace to our beautiful and world famous park. Their management consists of people who do not bear the basic ethical responsibilities to be truthful and honest with their customers who are being deceived into believing that this hotel is rated at 5 stars.Original review;Before you book at this hotel, read the real comments which the hotel IS NOT responding to! You’ll notice a trending keyword to describe this hotel…SEWERAGEOnce you pass the facade and enter your room you’ll notice this hotel doesn’t deserve more than 3 stars. How on earth they’re able to advertise as being a five star hotel… I cannot imagine…The rooms smell like sewerage and I received no response after reporting this directly to the hotel manager.

Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park
In a time when even the best hotels around are either overpriced or simply sub par, the Pullman is pretty good. They still have a mini bar and all the conveniences you’d expect. Their lounge is fair but not up to the standards of other 5 star properties. It has a beverage for your taste and a small selection of nibbles. This property is getting a little tired in parts but I understand they are refurbishing soon. The only downside really is no Foxtel for decent news channels or sport. Apart from that it’s good value for money and I have stayed their a few times.

Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park
We stayed here during the Easter long weekend in order to be close by to the Easter show. I was extremely disappointed by our stay, especially by the cleanliness of the room and by the customer service. The couches in the room were absolutely filthy and the suite we stayed in was so dusty - definitely not 5 star quality. We booked 2 nights and honestly couldn’t wait to go back home. I understand that the hotel was at full capacity during this weekend so staff were probably under a lot of pressure in which case more staff should have been on to ease their frustrations, because it definitely showed.

Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park
We enjoyed our stay at the Pullman. The Restaurant, Reception and Concierge staff were friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast at Bacar was delicious. The Housekeeping staff immediately addressed our concern about dust in the room. The Porter and Valet services were slow due to the Easter Show, however our checkout time was extended to accomodate the delay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park
I was really upset that I had to stay at this hotel because of all of the bad reviews I found on here. I had to go to a festival and it was the only one available. I had paid extra for early check in. Arrived half an hour early. I received a complimentary upgrade and was able to access my room straight away. Parking was good. The room was very clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was no sewerage smell like people said in the reviews. I was on a higher floor though, idk if that’s why. Breakfast was great. I will be staying again !
