Taste Of Asia North Gong
This is the worst Thai restaurant in NSW. Ah no, in the whole universe. Foody nightmare. I ordered 1 serve of coconut rice, crying tiger and tom yum soup. I do not know how they cooked the rice but my teeth were damaged after just 1 spoon. That was not coconut rice, that coconut Grain for the cattle!!! And for sure that is not human friendly at all. I see in the food description there is BBQ beef in the crying tiger and yeahh the beef did not look like BBQ. The beef was bland and chewy. I do not know how to describe the Tom Yum Soup. Well, seem like it made from the seasoning of the MaMa instant noodle in Coles. 3 Shrimps in the soup tasted like the it was boiled for 13795739 hours. I was confused whether i was eating shrimmy or African Crocodile. So so tough. In my most extraordinary imagine, there is no other Thai restaurant can be more disgusting than that. Oh i forget one more thing. This meal costs me 30$. Yeah 30$ = 20 MaMa Instant Noodle(which i 100% prefer). Hell Kitchen.

Had the magic box. Was absolutely brilliant. Along with the service and bourbon dry an lime while I waited. Can't recommend highly enough! Just found my new favourite Thai restaurant. Cheers

Taste Of Asia North Gong
New owners from June 2023 and Taste of Asia is very welcome. Ordered the Pad Prik Khing and the Tofu & Vegetable Jungle Curry. Also asked for good and spicy. All was delivered with excellent flavour, really fresh crunchy vegies, wonderfully cooked and with some spice.I was beginning to think that good Thai food was difficult in Wollongong, but if Taste of Asia can keep this up, then I’ll keep coming back.

Best Thai in Wollongong. Been living here for 5 years now and never noticed it when looking for food for some reason. Ordered take out, can't wait to eat in the restaurant next time!

From entry the staff were fantastic. We had a family of five and were catered to perfect. Entrees and mains were hot and fresh and the flavours were amazing. Great prices, too! We will be back soon, definitely! Big thanks to the staff and chefs.
