Staff were apologetic after being approached. However the food took an 55 minutes for us and other were waiting longer (1hour +) when food arrived it was ok. But give the coffee a hard miss.

I attended the Peninsula Club's Chistmas in July and the food and atmosphere were very good. I will come again next time.

Stopped in for a late lunch with the family. Found a large menu with a lot of variety. Staff are super friendly and food was great and generous portions.

Worst experience. The only reason it gets a star is because of the lovely new waitress there.The food came 1.5 hours after we ordered and they got one of our mains wrong. The glasses had lipstick stains on them and the water was luke warm. The parmas are also tiny for the price that they are. Very disappointing.

Food was ok. I had a salad with kale and green beans. I got fetta and calamari as an added extra. Didn't enjoy the food. Salad was bland and fetta didn't taste fresh. My son, on the other hand ordered a second steak, so he obviously enjoyed the food. The service was excellent.

We went for dinner on a Monday night. First we were accosted by a customer that we were at their table - after being taken to the table by staff then we had to wait forever for our meal. Admittedly, it was the night before Anzac Day but it still is not a good enough reason to wait over an 60 min for only part of the dinner to arrive, namely the garlic bread. After enquiring about what happened to our meal after waiting 60 min, we were told the salmon was on the grill and will be 6 min. This was the longest 6 min of my life. We ended up only receiving our main meal 90 min after placing our order.

I am shocked. We took our family out for a birthday dinner (12 people). We ordered a steak, and another family member ordered the beef noodles. The beef noodles were overcooked and tough, but we didn't say anything. We requested that the steak is cooked medium, but it came out well-done and a dark grey colour in the centre. When we nicely brought this to their attention, the manager said This is actually medium rare

Staff were apologetic when we approached them after the hour wait for 5 basic meals.Also didn’t appreciate hearing that the meals were half price (their promotion) and the kitchen was small when asking why the food was taking an hour for multiple tables, the club was not busy so i couldn’t justify the wait especially after working in hospitalityStaff were kind enough to offer us a complimentary drink or dessert

Waited nearly an hour for the food to arrive. I ordered a mains fish and chips.Complained to management about the wait and was told there wasn’t any thing she could do in regards to compensation as the food was already discounted due to their Mon-Thurs 50% off special.When my meal finally arrived there were 4 pieces of fish that looked like the mozzarella cheese stick you were able to get at Maccas a while back. The other tables had 2 pieces of fish but they were the size you would get from a fish and chip shop. That was the reason I ordered the fish in the first place.It wasn’t until I got home that it dawned on me I was served a kids meal.On top of that the fish itself had a very fishy taste. Not what I was expecting. It was probably pulled out of the back of the freezer after having been in there for a couple of months.The rest of the dining party ordered chicken Parma’s. Again these were part of the 50% off special. What they fail to mention is that the size of the Parma’s are also 50% the size of what you get at any other venue in the area. So basically we paid full price.Would I dine there again? Definitely NOT!!!It left a bad taste in my mouth and gave me a bad memory for 59th Birthday.
