Dale and his staff are always friendly and the fuel is cheaper in Canungra than in the Gold Coast usually by 15 to 20 cents a litre

Passed through Canungra on the way to the Coast, I stopped in for fuel and was beyond impressed with the level of service. I forgot to grab a receipt which I needed in order to get a refund for my hire car. I contacted the manager the following day and without any hesitation she was willing to help by printing a receipt off from the previous day. Avoid the M1 and take a trip pass Canungra Caltex.

Very rude staff. Purchased 40$ petrol and asked for topping up our 40 l water tanks because we couldn’t fill them up at the water station in town. They told us that’s not possible and 40l would be way too much because they have to pay for the water. Even towns on water restriction offer you (free!) drinking water, Canungra obviously doesn’t.

I'd your standard rural servo. A convenient location if your riding a motorbike from Tambourine to Springbrook or further. My only gripe is that there is that there is no 98 fuel. 95 does the job but if I had the choice I'd pay the extra 20 cents for the 98.

Dale at the Caltex in Canungra was an absolute gem. He was friendly and kind, service with a smile and many various items stocked. The coffee was was good, and we appreciated his service. Much better than BP :) thanks dale, you’re a champion! We will be back.

Had a gritty starter switch on a motorcycle, just needed a spray with wd40 or cleaner ,tighten the battery terminals do it yerselfer but the folks in both the mechanical side and store side couldn't have been more helpful.They happily helped with a couple free goes of their spray cans,genuinely wanted to see the machine would start and that all was ok.It was just a bit of spray but so nice to have people show that much courtesy to a random traveller.Thanks!
