Absolutely love this little cafe in Ivanhoe; me and my partner bypass all the cafes between Reservoir and Ivanhoe just to enjoy an awesome toastie and pie with a nicely brewed hot coffee. Service has always be phenomenal and I've never had to wait long for our order to come out. The friendly staff and new owner make coming here a delight.

I used to really like going to this cafe when the previous owner (John) was in charge. But now with the new owners who are inexperienced, disinterested and somewhat with an attitude, I have decided to go elsewhere. The last time I went to this place was enough to stop me from ever going back. To start with when we walked in we were not even greeted. And as we were on a time limit we were not able to sit around watching the world go round.The tables had a sticky residue and still had the same plates that the last people had eaten off. We waited 25-30 minutes for our drinks to arrive and then as we were about to leave as we had an appointment they gave us a ham and cheese sandwich which was not what we ordered and that they were just starting to cook my pastie on the grill and we explained to them that we couldn't wait for it to be cooked as we were pushed for time.But to the response of the new younger owner in his own words, he said:Well

The coffee is the best in the area. Zac and his team are always friendly and up for a good chat even when it's really busy. There is not many cafes with so many long time regular customers as Coffee Plus, which speaks for itself.
