Golden Point Hotel
This place is pricing itself out of its market. We’ve never had a bad meal there but the prices have gone up and the wine at $9.50 a glass is quite expensive. We were going each week for the steak night which used to include a wine but no more. I don’t mind paying more for great food but this isn’t great food it’s just basic pub food - cold dry chips, a decent bit of salad and a steak with a choice of 2 or 3 unpleasant gravies. And now even on steak night you’re looking at close to $40 for steak and a wine. It’s a shame really - but The staff are fabulous.

Golden Point Hotel
What a lovely evening! We were made to feel so incredibly welcome by all staff, who all also went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our meals. The roving magician at the end of our meal was an absolute delight, the kids will remember our meal at the Golden Point hotel for a long time to come. We will definitely be back!

Food is pretty good. Huge indoor playground for the kids to play. Food came out very quickly. It took us a while to get seated down but other than that, it was a pleasant experience all around.

Food was delicious! Staff are always friendly and attentive! Supervisor was very helpful when we needed some assistance!We saw the Magician Ben tonight and he was hilarious and the tricks were amazing, was great to have some entertainment while we celebrated my sons 5th birthday dinner. He went to each table! Loved the magic :) thanks for a great night!!!! Would highly recommend getting there to have a nice meal and be amused and entertained by Ben!!!!

New order at table QR code style. Convenient but impersonal. Mains arrived with entree disappointing as mains vege cold by time you get to eat, so left on $34 plate.Overall experience a let down from past experiences here.Oscars, a block away, a better deal all round

Used to be a fantastic place but the food has gone down hill big time. It appears the food is being half cooked and then recooked when ordered leaving everything chewy and full of oil. Playground and staff are good just not the food recently.

Staff were lovely, service was good. Food was disappointing. $35 for a burrito bowl with chicken and halloumi (which consisted of mostly rice) and a tasteless, oily dressing.

I reccomend Buying the Kitchen A around of drinks after dinning in! They do an amazing job!ATMOSPHERE is a 2 only due to how much noise carries and doesn't seem yo go anywhere, how when the bistro is busy there is an Aurora of anxiety everywhere. Which I feel comes down to layout/ capacity.Food - now this beetroot salad has stolen my tastebuds since OCTOBER! I like to add chicken and Prawns or sometimes one or the other. The flavour combinations with Texture of cannided wall nuts, citrus dressing over roasted beetroot and Fettuccine- AMAZING - TOO DIE FOR!
