Lake Bonny Reserve Rest Area
Awesome camping around the lake! One of the best free camps in SA. Very sandy in places but we had no issues with our 23’ van. Toilet is cleaned weekly and sometimes it’s blocked due to idiots but another well looked after toilet at the Lock 5min down the road. 5 minute drive to everything you need, gas, petrol, grog, groceries, dump & water in town. Lots of good carp fishing with worms or corn. Highly recommend camp! Please take your rubbish to town.

Lake Bonny Reserve Rest Area
The place is well looked after, but there's still much rubbish. When visit, please take all your rubbish with you and a little bit of someone's else. It will be a great help to people who keep free of charge. Be careful with non-4WD vehicles: deep sands. The area is picturesque, the lake is good for swimming, fishing (good luck!). Be aware of scorpions!
