Jo was absolutely AMAZING at the Penrith Store. Let us take our time with all the recommended mattresses and we couldn’t be happier with her service. That’s why we keep coming back to Forty Winks… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Starting with selecting a bed. The older lady (sorry don't remember her name) was very knowledgeable on different types of mattresses and was able to guide us to the right mattress. She wasnt pushy, led us to options and let us make a choice. That was a really good experience.The first time our stuff was delivered the subcontracted delivery drivers looked at our staircase and said it can't be done. Very disappointing, if we left it there, the review would be 2 stars.Upon talking to the store manager she offered to try the delivery again with the forty winks deliverers, not subcontractors.Now, this is where George and James saved this review. They did everything they could to get it up the stairs, showed how removing the balustrade would let the mattress get up and showed me how the handrail bars could be temporarily removed. And with such knowledge and determination they were successful in getting the mattress and bed up the stair case.George and James should be commended on their work ethic and changed my opinion on the business.

We purchased a new mattress from Forty Winks Penrith and were served by Amanda. If I could give her 10 stars I would - she was incredibly helpful, kind and patient. I have never received such high quality customer service. Amanda sets the bar and was such a pleasure to deal with. Will and have already recommended her and Forty Winks Penrith to my friends and family.

Ordered a bed in Jan 22 with a known 5 month wait. Next day received a call from the store saying it will be March. Hadn't heard from them in March, ring the store and they aren't sure why but we were called and it's still May. Get to May and no call from the store ring them again and they have no idea so ring Head Office I presume. Now it's delayed until June, I say cancel the order, we can't because my wife is the contact is the response. We get to the end of June and shock horror no call from the store. I ring them again and to hear the line We are ringing the manufacturer". Bronwyn then gets on the phone to tell me she can't give me an ETA on where our bed is because I'm not the contact. I remind her that I'm only ringing you because you haven't provided the customer service or courtesy and rang my wife to update her."

The most disappointing experience I have ever had. Went into the store to look at mattresses my friend had recently purchased a Tempur so I was asking question about them first, the information I was given was incorrect which was reiterated by another 2 staff members. I was particular about my needs and the Tempur is the lease likely mattress to be suitable to me. Unfortunately on this false information I purchased the mattress $5700.00. I tried to persevere with the mattress knowing you have to give your body some time to adjust. After nights of uncomfortable sleep I contacted the company to report a complaint. I was told during this conversation that it is 40 Winks policy to offer the bed match experience to all customers. This was not offered to me, I have been back to the shop and undertaken the bed match experience and all 10 beds that matched my needs not one was a Tempur. I basically been told too bad you made the purchase and we are (40 Winks) not going to offer you any solution.Do not go to this shop if you are looking for honest information and respectful service.

Extremely disappointed. Was told my bed would take 2-4 weeks to be delivered. 2 and a half months later it arrives, they drop my bed from the truck onto the road, I get it inside and unpack it, one of the drawers doesn't open properly and was told this sometimes happens with these beds... Organise to get it replaced, 10 days later its replaced with a brand new one and exact same problem with the drawers. One side barely opens halfway. Will never buy from this company again.

George is a legend!! Friendly service, went through the entire process thoroughly, deserves a pay rise and a bonus!!

I had great service starting with Jo on the phone at Penrith; the lady who rang to keep me posted about delivery; and the guys who delivered. All really helpful and friendly. From order to delivery in 4 days and a good price too.
