Such a fun and interesting family day out! Our toddler and his cousin had the best time exploring all the buses and I found it very interesting as well! Really interesting to travel in time and get a feel of how the buses were like and looked like back then.

A must to do!!! Sydney Bus Museum is a hidden gem with plenty of surprises. If you like to explore the history of public transport in Sydney and experience some exposure to the past, don't hesitate. The biggest surprise was the ride with antique bus through streets of Sydney. It takes 40 min and is a return trip to city., Town Hall Station. If you buy your ticket online, could have the option to use this bus trip to reach to the museum. A great weekend option for families as the museum offers heaps of activities for children. Highly recommended!!!

This is a must do when you come to Sydney. The museum was very interactive as you can go up some of the busses to steer the wheel. There was also a vintage bus tour where you can take one of the vintage bus for a tour to the CBD. The staff were knowledgable and friendly. Definitely recommending this.

The Lou reed song “perfect day” is good… but he forgot to mention the Sydney Bus Museum! Truly the perfect way to spend a Sunday, climbing aboard an old Kowloon motor bus and journeying from Leichhardt to Town Hall … and back! Informative, interactive displays, lovely, friendly staff, the best collection of buses I’ve witnessed in the flesh to date. “Hidden gem” is a term thrown around a lot, but the Sydney Bus Museum is truly an underrated Sydney must do.

Amazing museum! You get to have a nice ride to the city on an old double decker, plus you get to explore a lot of buses inside museum as well. Will definitely go back again :)

The Sydney Bus Museum is a fantastic destination for anyone interested in the history of transportation in Australia. The museum's collection is extensive and well-maintained, featuring a wide variety of buses from different eras. The museum also offers a fun and educational experience for children. Parking is available at William Street but very limited, or you can try to find one along the park. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Sydney Bus Museum for a unique and enjoyable experience.

We had a wonderful day out at the bus museum. There are several new displays, so if you haven't been for a while, the team at the museum have something special in store for you.We caught the (heritage) bus from Town Hall, just outside Hungry Jack's, to the museum. The favourite new display was the bus signage, where we now have the ability to change the route and destination on the signs. I won't spoil all the surprises...As always, the volunteers were fabulous, answering the many questions fired at them from the kids.

Caught the bus from the city to Leichhardt which was unplanned and a nice experience. Free ride and donations are welcomed for the service. The bus service goes back and forth in both directions.
