They still haven't responded to my emails or calls for months. my roof is now leaking and mold has started to grow but they aren't doing a thing to fix it.the amount they said i would save with the solar isn't even half of what was promised

This company sales called me for long time before even I bought my house. Sandy came to my rented apartment twice, when I could not even dream of it. He kept calling me. He again came after I bought my house, I bought their solar for $7999 after govt discount of around $2800 (3 kw) almost 3 1/2 years now. He suggested my electricity bill would reduce but it did not. Now they say that I am using too much of electricity and Sandy picked my call and said Suntree has already collapsed and he is working for different company. I WOULD REQUEST ALL THE PEOPLE READING THIS REVIEW TO BE VERY PRECISE AND CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY SOLAR FROM THIS COMPANY. The company is still open in Google search. Please becareful.

Suntree solar ripped me off. Their agent 'chirag' can not speak English properly. He promised me my bill will be ZERO but still i am paying same amount of bill. I called several times to chirag but he did not answer my call. I called his office but nobody answered ,me.

Just like others have noted, they targeted my elderly parents with English not their first language. Installation took place on 12 July. My parents were not informed they needed a digital meter. It is now 5 September and we have no digital meter which means we don't get credit off the grid as another customer outlined. I have contacted the company to complain they targeted my elderly parents and over charged them. Chirag has not answered my calls or email. His colleague Jay called and promised the meter would be installed earlier than October which is the next date AGL gave me. I have not heard from AGL or him again to confirm an earlier date. I will now be making a complaint to the Department of Fair Trading as the Energy Ombudsman does not deal with solar.This company is misleading, their English not great and they are definitely targeting older people who are vulnerable and won't investigate enough about them. But I will ensure at least that the Department of Fair Trading is aware and hopefully penalises them.

The phone sales team have been calling me repeatedly for the past few weeks so I will agree to an in home consultation. I made it clear on the first phone call that I was not interested!! if they have to harass customers for sales - not a good impression. Be aware!

I had a problem with a budget inverter that was installed last time the solar rebates were being handed out. Being a 'replacement only' job, electricians seemed reluctant to come out and do the job.Enter Suntree Solar. The rep that gives such glowing reviews, Chiraq Patel, came out and quoted to replace the existing unit and upgrade/install an additional 13 panels to lift capacity to a total of 5kw.Why 5kw? Apparently it's the maximum that can be connected to single phase. I was a bit skeptical about this and queried the logic of a 5kw solar system limit when my aircon (7.5kw) and pool pump (1.5kw) currently draw current from the grid at the same time at almost double the stated maximum.I made a few enquiries and quickly realised that the first thing reputable solar installers do is apply for a 8kw exemption. This means you can connect more panels and get meaningful returns from your investment.A quick check with an online solar cost estimator confirmed my worst fears - I could double the number of solar panels that Suntree had quoted to install from 13 to 25 and replace my existing inverter for a $1,000 less than what Suntree had quoted to install the 13 panel system.A phone call and an email the following morning to cancel the credit card transaction had no effect. A week later they took the deposit from the account.They are now on three days notice to refund the deposit before they make the acquaintance of Consumer Affairs.Good news.Didn't have to call in the dogs to get my deposit back within the '10 day period' of the contract that was withdrawn after I had served notice.Chiraq was onto the accounts dept post haste. Well done.In the meantime, some lessons learned.a) refuse all door to door sales peopleb) get 3 quotesc) google their reviews before you sign!!!

Dodgy and Unfair practice!!! My elderly parents was enforced into signing contract by their sales representative. Utterly disgusting approach and targeting pensioners . My 80 yrs old parents were vulnerable and representative from the company debited his visa account , knowing he had medical condition and on pension . When asked to void contract and refund his monies , the company advice the transaction was non refundable. Beware and stay away from any form of approach from Suntree Solar !!!!

Woeful customer service! You’re dealing with a sales company. They employ contractors to do the work. So if something goes wrong they will ignore you and maybe squabble amongst each other about who’s at fault. Net result for you as a customer is no action for your leaking roof or other things that can go wrong. I’m still waiting on a resolution 4 months later. Taking it up with consumer affairs. They just completely ignore you... I had water gushing into my roof in the middle of the night. They don’t care.Don’t do what I did. Get someone local. Someone who will do the work themselves and take responsibility for their work when something goes wrong.Zero stars.

I had my solar installed in June 2017, they didnt get me a new meter until 12 weeks later, so I couldnt sell back to the grid.. I was promised a refund for this but nothing happened... my bill didnt go down at all, so I was paying double the amount “electrecity bill & solar” ... I spoke to 4 different people and has been chasing them to come and see whats wrong .. everytime I am promised that someone will come but again no one does ... in December 2017 finally someone came .. he checked my meter and saw that in 2 hours my meter producer more than 200kwh .. which is WRONG!Went back to the company and told them what happened .. yet no one did anything.I Called them agaib just before Xmas furious at whats going on ... I then get promised that a whole team is coming to my house on 2nd January to asses the system.. I sent them all my bills so they can compare ... on 2nd no one came .. I tried to call & sent an email .. no one replied ... today is 4th Jan .. Im still trying to contact them & no one is getting back to me!This is the worst company ever DO NOT SIGN WITH THEMP.S. Chirag who gave a 5 stars rating below is one of their salesmen!
