Perkins Training
I’ve been training with Shane Perkins weekly for the past 8 months. Shane is an incredibly knowledgeable coach and trainer. During the time I’ve been working with Shane he has been able to coordinate and guide me in successfully rehabbing a significant back injury and also rehabbing me again post a recent knee arthroscope. Shane’s programming is well thought out and varied, and his positive, upbeat style makes him enjoyable and fun to train with. Shane is an inspiring individual who “walks the talk”. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have him as my trainer/coach; and I would enthusiastically recommend him and Perkins Training to anyone serious about improving and progressing.

I have been training with Shane for 8 months now and have had such a great experience with learning so much about exercise and nutrition. Shane is so dedicated which helps keep me on track and always available for questions and being supportive when I’ve needed an extra push. If you’re looking for a dedicated coach I would recommend Shane!

I’ve been training with Shane for a while now and couldn’t be happier. He has a wealth of knowledge being a world class athlete. I have numerous injuries and ongoing pain problems that he has been able to cater for, teaching me what movements will reduce my pain etc. He has also shared his knowledge of healthy eating habits which has been very helpful so I can establish a realistic long term eating pattern. His wife is lovely too. Only negative is his calves are enormous and he makes mine look small when we are in the gym together. He hasn’t shared his secrets in regards to why his calves are so big, but when he does i’ll let you know…

Perkins Training
I’ve been to gyms for most of my life, I was a PT at one point and over time I sort of lost my passion for training. My training became irregular, I wasn’t seeing great results and I was feeling pretty deflated about the entire process. I started training with Kristine and that whole mentality shifted. Her knowledge not only allowed her to devise a program that suited my busy lifestyle and goals, but also kept me engaged and I saw some great results. Although each week was incremental, Kristine showed me that getting into a gym is a marathon, not a sprint, and looking back I’ve achieved some huge benefits not only physically and mentally. There are heaps of PT’s out there and it’s only when you train with someone as experienced as Kristine you realise that not all are the same and there are huge benefits in the right trainer. I couldn’t recommend Kristine enough!
