An hair salon

Worth making the hour trip to get my hair done here. Been going for years and Tom has never disappointed. Make an appointment before you go though because there is usually appointments booked by others ahead of time.

It was kind and I liked the experience there. Reservations are always required.

I have unruly curly hair and often I don't get the cut that serves my hair which makes my life miserable: bad hair-day 5 day/week! My friend recommended Tom at An hair Salon to me. Even though I was reluctant, I decided to give it a go. He did an amazing job on my hair, better than my best expectation! Besides their pricing is very fair. They don't rip you off for a hair cut like most salons with a fancy front. Highly recommend...

Hairdresser didn't take time to listen or discuss what I wanted. Ran the clipper across my head and shaved everything with no shape. One of the worst haircuts I've received. I had to go elsewhere to fix it and am now left to wait and grow my hair out.

I was told I can come 2pm, then because difficult to find parking, I was 5 mins late, then I saw the hairdresser already doing haircut for someone, and he told me because I am late, I explained that and mentioned that I can wait after current customer, but he said no, and told me I need to wait until 4:30pm, It is not reasonable to wait such long. And I asked if they can check the time slots again, then the hairdresser spoke Korean to another guy, laughed and replied me NO again impatiently. Firstly at least they should let me know that my session is only 5 mins, though I assume normally haircut is at least 15 mins, if I miss it within 5 mins, then no position for me any more during the whole day, then definitely I will not drive to them, waste of time. Secondly, they don’t know what is good customer service, only keeping saying “ it is not my problem” , never think from customer side. Maybe only good service for Korean speaking customer!

Absolutely over rated!Went to cut my hair shorter today. The girl did everything opposites what I wanted. I’m not sure if she actually understand what I want or if it’s just her skill isn’t good at all. My hair isn’t difficult, the previous hair dresser already shaped it properly. All she needs to do is to keep the same style but shorter! I told her want to keep the same length at the side, short at back and shorter fringes, she not only cut it much shorter, but over thinned heaps every where which totally ruined the original style! I doubt maybe she is an apprenticeship and actually practices on me!! Dodgy shop, not ever going back again!

I did my hair cut by An(male hairdresser), I am very happy with my results. I didn’t need to wait for my appointment(at some hair salon, you need to wait even if you have an appointment in advance. He’s very professional, he has a good communication, he knows what the customers know. I highly recommend it.
