Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food was phenomenal and better than any cafes I’ve been to in Melbourne. The portions were generous, we were full before we finished, and the meals we had (omelette and eggs Benny) we so packed full of flavour. Coffee was also great. Could not recommend them highly enough if you’re in the area. Will definitely have to make another trip down to the prom just to visit this place.

Came down from Melbourne to visit Wilson’s prom and came across this incredible restaurant for dinner. The food is VERY tasty, such high quality and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. I cannot recommend enough!

Great food using top local produce, attentive service and relaxed atmosphere. Great coffee especailly if Ant’ is on the machine. My fav’ local spot for breakfast.

Absolutely the best place to eat in Fish Creek, maybe in all of South Gippsland! Local ingredients, great flavour combinations and beautifully presented. Food can be slow to arrive, but the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is always divine.

Came past for breakfast! Reasonably priced except for the fact that sides are $6 each. (I would normally get toast & a plate of sides elsewhere). Otherwise food was amazing! We had the French Toast & Egg & Bacon Burger.

Wow, what a delightful surprise. Fresh local produce, rotating menu based on what's available from local farmers. Had such an awesome discussion with the head chef & enjoyed a season cocktail (delish & refreshing - it was that 39c day!). Go & support your local farmers & incredible food LJP makes! The interior is so lovely & warm too. Generous portions & incredibly freshly made.

We came by Long John Pickle on our little road trip to Wilson's Prom. Kiddos were tired after being on the road for a couple of hours. Had hopes that the food was as good as the reviews made it out to be. Spoiler alert: it was.My wife and the pumpkin soup and it was the best pumpkin soup she'd had in 2022, maybe even ever. The right consistency to be filling, with the pepper and spice dusting over the top, completed with that scrumptious piece of local sourdough. Too bloody good.The burger and chips and kids meals were exactly what me and the ankle biters were after too. We left nourished and happy, resuming our journey. Only thing I'm unhappy about is that it's so far from the suburbs, we'll have to swing by once we're back out that way again.

What a great place to stop at on our day trip to the beach. Delicious food and drinks, lovely staff and dog friendly seating on the outdoors deck. Well worth a visit if you're passing through Fish Creek.
