I love my local markets. The New Brighton Markets have slightly different stalls than the Byron Bay/Mullum Markets, however they are just as good, and there is fresh, cheap, delicious fruit and veg, meat, dairy and seafood.If you want to eat like a King, but don't have the budget, this is a god-send for hard to find ingredients or plants (like Licorice Thai Basil - A fantastic cooking basil for an aniseed taste).

Such a great community market with excellent produce, lovely people and a great atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and it's a great place to meet up with locals and friends for a bit to eat or a coffee and there are usually kids activities too.
