I needed emergency service because I couldn't open the main garage door, I read some reviews and decided to call Allgate and my experience was great! From the moment I called to the moment the job was done everything was smooth and efficient.The guy came and quickly fixed my door for a call out price and even left a sticker on the door for future.Will definitely recommend!!

Won 1st prize in their tipping comp. Communication between myself and staff was swift and extremely helpful. Upon collection of my prize I was given a warm greeting and assistance loading the prize into my car. I am extremely pleased with Allgate in the way they deal with customers and go above and beyond what is expected of them.

Very disappointed. The unit block where I live had our automatic garage door refurbished by Allgate last year. The work seemed fine if still a bit clunky but slightly quieter. They told us we would need new remotes so we bought them only to find out later that our old remotes worked fine. But we let that slide, hey we all had extra remotes.Then, 2 weeks ago Allgate replaced the infrared sensor beam,The old one still worked except in very rainy weather, when water droplets impacted it causing the door to stay in the up position. A quick wipe with a cloth and working fine again.Anyway the day after the sensor being replaced, I pressed my remote, waited for the door to open and parked my car in front of the sensor while closing my personal garage door. As I did every morning before work.With my back turned I heard the automatic door motor start up and saw the door was coming down. I ran over and put pressure back against the door before it hit my car thinking it was fitted with a safety feature so it wouldn't push down on obstructions. But NO!! It was not and it kept pushing down finally coming down on my windscreen, cracking it.A week later Allgate sent a technician out to meet me and I re-created the scene. I parked as I had the week before but this time waited with my car in reverse, ready. And the door started coming down, luckily I got out of the way. Myself and the Technician both came to the conclusion that the beam was reflecting off my car. I was told to contact the Allgate office regarding the replacement of my windscreen.I eventually managed to talk to someone and explained what happened. I was told that the door was operating correctly and it was just bad luck that I had a silver coloured car that reflected the beam. I am utterly flabbergasted by this decision and having to pay for damage to my property caused by Allgate's incompetence.

Our landlord arranged repairs, the exemplary level and quality of service Allgate provided from initial contact and appointment to the on-site professionalism was a truly refreshing and enjoyable experience. We could not recommend them highly enough and without hesitation keep their number sharing at any opportunity.

Allgate was the only company in Sydney willing to come out after hours to repair our gate. It jammed when we were closing up and we called about a few other gate maintenance repairers and either the phone went to voicemail or they were not interested in coming out. An Allgate technician was out here within an hour and it didn't take them long at all to get us out of the situation we were in. Really appreciate the responsiveness.

Spare yourself the hassle. Very expensive and unprofessional. Ordered a 2nd garage remote control for my investment unit which cost $260 with the call out fee and took two months. They would not leave it in my mailbox once programmed but agreed to post it to me (for another $15).. (? not sure of that logic. It still ends up in postbox). It was a fiasco from there: they sent it to the wrong address (Strata Manager's office) despite clear instructions to send to my home address. Confirmed the Strata Manager would redirect it, but could not verify the redirection address was my home address (initially told me to call the Strata Manager and do it myself). And the $15 postage? No refund. And still waiting for the remote.

They recommended the wrong receiver for our units (not compatible with people's remotes). They are regularly late for site visits (about 30 minutes). They refuse to provide an attendance time for onsite work and expect the customer to wait all day for them. I would strongly recommend people look for alternative company.

I've been in need of a garage remote replacement as part of a unit rental, and Allgate was responsible for getting a replacement. However Allgate has taken many weeks to respond. On the appointment day, the technician was late and I had to call up to find out if he was coming. They said he would be late and still come.When he arrived, I told him where the gate was, and I left him to do his work. An hour or so past, and it was getting late, I checked on him but he had left without saying anything. I'm still without a remote and ill probably have to follow up tomorrow to see what the deal is. Poor service.

Allgate Automation provides amazing service! From the initial consultation to the final installation, their professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the automated gate system they installed is reliable and aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend Allgate for their outstanding service!
