I’ve had an amazing experience every single time at this salon.. my hair colour and haircut looks outstanding like always.. the ladies are very professional and know exactly what they are doing.. the new owner is really lovely.. good management and quality customer service.. Would highly recommend to everyone!!!

Great service, beautiful salon, my colourist Sally was absolutely wonderful she was professional and set realistic expectations of what we could achieve.. Would definitely recommend! Oh and I got to play with a puppy the whole time! 10/10 love it.

They were nice and my blow dry was good but I wouldn’t recommend for a girl with curly hair. It became frizzy because he thinned out the bottom way too much.

THE WORST HAIR COLOUR I HAVE EVER GOT.I showed the picture I wanted to get my hair done, they said it would turn to light brown for the first time, but the colour then was orange/burnt/copper which looks really brassy and old like I have got my hair done for one year already, and my hair was originally super shinny and smooth.I asked the hairdresser for a very high balayage and I when noticed she did my hair is quite low, she said after washing I would see it very high but then what showed up is just half of my hair, looked like it was got done for a long time ago. I dont know this is their normal technique of doing balayage or just because I paid half price for their colour promotion and they just actually did half of my hair.THEIR PRICES ARE SO SUSPICIOUSI was asked to pay $155 for the colour and toner, when I look at their website for prices again, I noted that It would not cost that much so I questioned about the price and they said it included a hair cut as well, but I did not get any hair cut.THE MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEI was not happy with the colour of my hair so I went back there and wanted a refund, they refused and just rather a toner would be complementary . Then I wanted to talk to their boss as the girl in pink hair is not very useful to solve the problem at all and she was quite aggressive to me and my friend when she asked me and my friend to leave the salon

Lovely salon with beautiful and friendly staff. Words can’t explain how I loved my hairstyle&makeup by Kai&Co !I've been to many hair&makeup salon's but this one is by far my fav. Would be coming back next time!!Thank youuu!

Did a half head of foils on the advise of the colourist. I left there thinking it looked okay until I got home and investigated my head. The foils are uneven in sizes - some are thick and some are thin and I look like I’ve stepped out of 1995. They are also not evenly distributed throughout my head. Some areas have no foils at all.Also this salon claims to use olaplex, I did not see this treatment and I wasn’t sent home with the treatment because apparently they have “run out” but I paid for the treatment nevertheless. Apparently I only paid for the 2 treatment part which was only $40. Still I am not confident that this salon uses this.Also on their website they have their price list which is really great and handy, that’s how much I paid, but then they wanna claim that they are giving you 50% off the price because of a “promo”.... how did I get 50% off when I paid exactly what’s on your website? I was happy to pay it, just thought it was strange.I would have paid a LOT more if I was happy with the service. Money is not an issue with me. And I would have happily paid whatever they wanted for the olaplex treatment if I knew they were using it.I do not believe you are getting 50% off because there is no way in hell I would have paid DOUBLE the amount for streaky 90s hair. I wouldn’t visit this salon again. But thanks for the experience. I now know what to look for and what not to. If u do not want bad reviews then learn to listen to your clients and maybe, just maybe do a good job. Reviews are a consumer right.Believe me, if I saw what u had done to my head in the salon I would have been more than happy to tell you, but I did not.I do not want your free of charge anything. I want to turn back time and not have made the decision to come in the first place.I showed the colourist a picture of what I wanted, but she was working like she was racing against time. She’s fast, but she’s scary.I appreciate your reasons and your willingness to fix this but I have made an appt with another stylist who’s looked at my head and cannot believe the work that was done. Thanks anyway!

I absolutely love my hair!!! Thank you to the wonderful ladies at NYC Hair! You managed to find a way and work your magic on fixing my hair! After i spent over 1 year going from salon to salon i finally found a place that actually cares about its customers and ensures they spend the time in achieving everything we want! I love my new hair colour and obsessed with the condition it is in! i will be there for weekly blowdrys and treatments! Cant wait to get my hair 100% so i can wear those luscious extensions!

The time they took on my hair the expertise is amazing! I walked into the NYC hair salon with 5 different tones in my hair and 2 years of box hair dyes! Sanaid (I hope I spelled your name right :), was my colourist. Her amazing skills as a hairdresser saw my hair transformed from the mother of two with box dye hair lol - to an amazing full bodied sexy highlighted hair! I truly recommend her!I also loved the great customer service they have! Anica has the best phone manners and is always happy to assist with anything! My day at NYC hair and beauty was better then at the spa! I got my hair done and a coffee made, accompanied with lots of great banter and they even gave me a phone charger so I can charge my phone.I went back to them straightaway the following week to have some cornrows done. They looked superb!I have also now order their awsome 10A grade extensions and can't wait to get them done!So as a young mum and a girl that is really picky about my hairdressers and value for money i would truly recommend NYC Hair studio and beauty. My mothers group was amazed at how great my hair looks and feels. Thanks girls!

I wish I saw the online reviews before going to nyc and noticed their Facebook reviews are also turned off (suspicious)I went and had a balayage.A foil near my face dropped and bleach was sitting on my face unotived.I could feel a slight burn and it was irritated and red but nothing major.The girl washing my hair was more concerned about getting the colour off my face and vigorously SCRUBBED my face with a towel taking off skin causing more damage.It showed up badly the next day and was painful and BRUISED.That day I messaged them about the burn and sent a photo.10 days went by and I received no response.I gave a fair amount of time to respond and did not respond until I posted on their Facebook. Ironically they managed to see this post within 5 mins and delete it.They said they need to find out what products were used.They responded the next day, apparently it takes 11 days to find out and they tried to blame the burn as being a reaction. It’s obviously a burn. Anyone with a working pair of eyes can see it’s a burn.But after I checked their online reviews and how they respond to clients and shift blame I wasn’t surprised.They claimed that Wella products they use can not cause a burn, so I contacted Wella and ofcourse it can.A low level bleach(which was their excuse)can even if misused.A reaction it would have appeared on my scalp not coincidentally the area that was scrubbed.Wella said reactions will come in the form of welts and blisters,this was clearly a burn,I was missing layers of skin!The burn was only slighty attributed to the bleach but mainly from the staff member who was far to rough.They said anything they can to avoid giving a refund.The pricing is also suspicious.I supposedly received 50% off my colour and over the phone I was quoted $215, which still seemed pricey even with the ‘50% off’ with the colour service,but as I was leaving the salon I was charged $275!This is the occurring theme in reviews as well.I lodged a complaint with Fair Trading it took almost 2 weeks to email even Fair Trading a response!You’d think that injuring a client would be high priority.They sent the most insane lie filled response ever.They tried to again call my burn a reaction saying that clients are the ones taking a risk when getting their hair done.It was a clear BURN.They NEVER mentioned the staff member that was so rough and how that may of caused damage.They acted like that never happened!They also never mentioned the over charging.The BEST PART of the response was them claiming that me complaining and asking for refunds was a regular occurrence! I laughed.NYC used to be located in Campbelltown.i was a regular there. They moved the salon to bexley and I made the 1 hour drive to go there (mistake).There’s nothing similar about the two salons except the name.Different staff, products and quality.I made one complaint to the nyc CAMPBELLTOWN salon about 2 years ago when I had my extensions dyed and they were patchy and asked them to fix it.They were lovely and fixed them.I continued going there after that because of how nice they were about it. I was never issued a refund at Campbelltown or Bexley and the bexley salon exaggerated to suit their story and claimed ‘multiple’ complaints were made and this was a ‘recurring occurrence’. The only reason they even knew about this was because the Facebook page was given to them and they have my old messages to the other salon!I have never been more disappointed in a salon and am disgusted at the customer service given to myself and others.The person that owns this salon should not own a business and will say anything to avoid taking responsibility or give refunds.After the whole ordeal with fair trading the owner refused to give me a refund or acknowledge any mistake (shocker).It is being taken to the Civil Tribunal.I would never make so much effort but after the pathetic customer service I am happy to do so. I do not recommend NYC. The attitude of the owner alone is enough for me to go elsewhere.
