The best thing I did with my car last year was tell Gosford City Mechanicals what I needed it for (commuter car, lots of sitting in traffic), what problems I was having with it, and what my budget was; they took it from there - gave it a service, fixed what mattered most for the usage I needed from it, and left the rest for next time - and kept within my budget. They told me what they found, what was wearing out but still had some miles left, and what was passable but should be fixed in due course. The explanations made sense and I was very happy with the results. It is absolutely fantastic when you can trust your mechanic.
