I bought the sweet dounut from this place before but this time taste sour when eat at home. Must be days old or even longer. Waste my $3.2. Will never buy from this place anymore.

I’m just looking for a simple fresh meal and happened to look at an older lady with a smile on her face. Decided to ditch the restaurant I was looking for and turned around. Yes, they have congee that tasted like my grandma’s congee. Even my husband who hasn’t eaten congee before enjoyed it and even had some sesame dough balls and came back for more. It’s our second day today, had the same stuff. Enjoyed the same meal to the last bit.

Had a grilled pork rolled delivered. Fresh & promptly delivered. Everyone has their own taste preferences but this one wasn't for me.

I asked the shop keeper what's inside the glutinous rice roll she told me meat floss. This thing contains about 5% meat floss and 95% fried Chinese doughnuts. I spent $14 at this place and she charged me 20 cents eftops card surcharge.

Love the preserved egg and pork congee. One of our favs when in Box Hill for breakfast. Tasty and cheap!

The congee is nice and the combo with donut stick is still affordable considering the rising price. The lady who served me is also friendly and full of smile.I don't usually get anything other than the congee from Mr Kitchen so I can't say anything about the other menu.

Whenever i go to boxhill sure that i will go to mr kitchen for a donut stick, red bean donuts, glutinous rice donuts any 4 for $6,good price. Plus a cup of soya bean will be good for a snack time.

Great place for that congee and fried dough stick craving! $6.50 for a small bowl of congee and large fried dough stick makes good value for money! Very fresh and crunchy dough stick, very tasty but also very oily! I also purchased 3 dough sticks for $6 to take home

I always like to order the fried dough sticks from Mr Kitchen. This particular store has more fresh food as there is a higher customer flow. The fried dough sticks are more hot and crispy compared to their other branches.I would definitely come back again for the dough sticks. It is much cheaper if you purchase 3. But you will have to share between a few friends.
