Julie's Alterations Windsor

I bought a wedding dress from a Salvation Army shop but it was a few sizes too big. The dress is super heavy as it has three or four layers of fabric in the skirt. Not only did Julie transform my $90 op shop find into my dream wedding dress, but she did it in less than TWO WEEKS! I was so stressed out trying to find a dress, and when I finally found something I was even more stressed out that it wouldn't work. Julie is not just a seamstress - she's a miracle worker!

I thought I would give this company a go due to the good reviews however I am highly disappointed with the service I received.I asked Julie to fix a few old jumpers as well as a very simple task of sewing a belt loop on a coat. Julie requested pre payment and did not have eftpos meaning I had to go a lift cash out.A few days went by and I received a text asking me to pick up my items and money, I called Julie as I was confused and she stated she couldn't fix my jumpers as they were too old and the material kept ripping, that was fine however when I went to return she explained that the one item she could fix - the very simple task of sewing a belt loop now would cost me an additional amount from which she originally quoted me. I told her I didn't agree with that but stated I would be more than happy to bring her more items in the future, she rudely said no and that she did not want my business.The main points to take away from this review is that she was very rude and lacked any communication/ customer service skills required when owing a business. It was a massive inconvenience for me. Wasted so much of my time on something that should have been a simple and stress free experience. I will never go back here again!

Julie did the most fantastic job on an alteration for me today! I desperately needed a huge alteration job and she was able to get everything sorted for me within hours to work with my busy schedule and make sure that I could wear my uniform correctly.I absolutely recommend her expertise and will be seeing her for all future alterations. Julie did a fanstastic job!I had 2 school dresses that need to be hemmed by monday for school. She was very quick to get them done and even ironed them for me. Will definitely come back!
