Worth the hike. Pack food and water, check the weather before heading out. Make sure you are prepared. Amazing views once at the top.Everyone else hiking has the same goal, reaching the top, super friendly.Some form of fitness is recommended.

Staircase and Eskdale Spur are intense altitude climbs, but the view at the top is worth it!

A hard climb but the view is well worth it when you get to the cairn. Six kms straight up once you leave the 2km flat fire track walk. You should do it, plan now but make sure you have all the gear in case the weather changes whilst on route!

Oh my god it was not easy hike but the view is stunning. In fact the top of the mountains is less than 2000m and i have already experience +3000m but i am still impress by the view. You need adapted shoes as there is snow melting (so water running) on most of the last part after the cabin. Close to the top there were probably 30cm to 40cm of snow there were no snow at top. A fit hiker can do it 7h i guess with decent break and lunch. This is steep all the way long.

One of the best hikes in the Snowies...! Excellent views and good access to the carpark by regular car. Walk takes all day - depending on your ability of course, so do not start too late!

Pretty challenging but absolutely worth the view you get at the summit. You must be well prepared and FIT.
