My wife and I used APB some years ago as our Buyers Agent for a Melb Property within our SMSF. Karin Mackay was extremely knowledgeable and professional and provided us with detailed property analysis to suit our budget and requirements. Karin found and negotiated an excellent property that ticked ALL the boxes for us. What elevates Karin above others was because we live interstate, she was also able to fully furnish and style our apartment (Property Makeovers) for it to be advertised on AirBnB and other platforms (Positive Income - Short stays). At the time Karin also acted as Host and we achieved so many 5 star guest reviews, our apartment was then placed on AirBnB Plus (initiation only). This has meant consistently good reviews and income for our SMSF. I highly recommend Karin as Karin is an expert in her field and extremely professional. Karin advised me, found the perfect home and purchased it for me at auction. The property is a fantastic home and a great investment. In addition Karin has managed all of the renovations and interior design. Please, buyer beware. The property ended up being second rate and made a loss even after holding it for 10 years. In hindsight I feel I was pushed into the purchase of a defective property I wasn't comfortable with after being given four options and told to choose one. As a first timer I didnt even know how bad this was until I spoke with others, including my next buyers agent, and understood the difference. I also feel I was pushed into a testimonial before any of these things became apparent which I regretted and asked her to take down (she still hasn't). In my opinion they gave revolting customer service after the transaction (i.e., rude and pushy once I gave them money). Lovely until then! Don't be fooled. In my opinion this was a huge mistake that cost me a lot of money.Update 6 November 2019. After Karen read this review she emailed me personally to threaten me. Her email contained the following quote:'If you do not remove your review I will formally advise my lawyer to take adequate action against you.'If this doesn't demonstrate who you would be dealing with, I don't know what else would.Updated 24.3.22 - It makes sense that Karen would blame her client for a poor sales result. Fitting really. Selling for $330k 14 years after I purchased it for $296k isn't a winning result to me. But if that's what you see as a great result, you've proven my point.
