I had the pleasure of enjoying some of the many lovely dishes created by Executive Chef, Callum McIntyrey at Butleigh Wootton's tasting evening last Friday night.The meals were beautifully presented and tasted equally delicious with just the right amount of portions in each course, allowing room for dessert which did not disappoint!Butleigh Wootton has a homely warmth about it and with it's spectacular charm makes a beautiful wedding reception venue,Combined this with the very friendly confident staff, the delicious food and the great location, what more could you want from a special wedding venue.Diane Tickell, Ab Fab Cakes

Beautiful mansion. My friend had a small wedding here and it was simply romantic. It was very classy and warm with good service.

This is Melbourne's best Wedding Reception Venue. The staff are second to one. Exceptionally friendly and knolegable.

Great wedding venue, with a beautiful garden, and historic building. With space for around 100-120 guests inside, it's good for small to medium sized weddings.

Had our wedding here in December 2010. Excellent all round.

We had our wedding there on Feb 15th 2009 and it was absolutely perfect, great staff, great food, great venue. Having the wedding out the back saved trying to move people as they just walked up stairs to the reception it was excellent.The staff did everything they could to make our day stress free and easy on us and always had a cool drink nearby so I didn't pass out :) Almost wish I could get married there again... hmmmm...

I attended a wedding at Butleigh Wootton for my best friend last month and it couldn't have been better!The venue itself is one of the most beautiful properties; an old mansion style house that is a mix of old-world glamour, but with modern updates (LOVED the bride's room upstairs and the spiral grand staircase!). The surrounding gardens were so pretty too and make the perfect setting for a wedding.. Watching my best friend walk down the main staircase in her stunning wedding dress was just the best! The Event Manager was so helpful and my best friend said the staff went above and beyond to ensure she and her now-husband were always so happy and their expectations were completely exceeded.The food was delicious too and of such a high standard - plus there's was plenty of it! At the end of the night, the dance floor went off! It was such a brilliant night and the venue was certainly a major reason why the wedding was such a huge success.Highly recommend Butleigh Wootton, their exceptional and super-professional staff, their service, the venue, the gardens and the food... Really couldn't recommend it highly enough. My best friend and her husband had the perfect night and so did all the guests!

Just after getting engaged, I saw pictures of Butleigh Wootton in a bridal mag. I instantly fell in love and was married here in February 2008. The preparation was so easy and effortless from my perspective. So much so that I think the hardest thing we had to do was arrange seating (i.e. who wants/doesn't want to sit with who). The staff were amazing and there was no need to ask any questions as everything was already done (or was no trouble for them to arrange). The Big Day" was perfect and I can highly recommend this venue
