Sanctuary Resort Motor Inn

Great location surrounded by big old gum trees and gardens, just off the highway yet nice and quiet. Tree top bar/restaurant to sit and relax on and enjoy the sunset thro the trees. Staff were lovely. Restaurant was well priced. Place was all a little bit dated yet was well maintained and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the spa bath and shower had good water pressure. Very relaxing place to be.

When I booked I said I was a very light sleeper so it would be great if they could choose a quieter room, away from noise, eg. traffic noise or bin noise. Unfortunately they gave me a bottom floor, where I listened to constant footsteps (running footsteps) with children above & banging doors late & early, meaning I got 3 hours sleep. Argh! Disappointing!Update: The lovely lady at Sanctuary did upgrade us to a much better room after the first rough night! Top floor and we slept wonderfully! No footsteps! Thankyou for being so lovely and accommodating (even cooking us breakfast)! We will definitely book direct for future stays. I will change my initial 2 rating to a 4. You really turned around our stay! Thankyou again. Great service!

It is a great motor inn we called for a late check in on our way home to Sydney they were so abiging great service they had to do a reshuffle to fit us in,thank you.

Two nights at the Resort provided a good sized room with parking at the door. It’s located on the west side of the highway on the edge of Coffs and requires U turns to get to or from the Resort which was frustrating. Rachelle in Reception was very friendly and helpful when I asked for advice. Bedsheets were clean, but also had holes of various sizes which was disconcerting. It was great that we could lock our e bikes to the railing of the room’s back balcony.

The Sanctuary Resort is a hidden gem in the lower price end of the market. Its not fancy but its clean, safe, and the rooms are large, surrounded by beautiful rainforest and has some added extras like a pool and accessible rooms. As someone with an ambulant disability I was too late to get an accessible room but got a ground floor room (no steps) and shower was not over bath .. bathroom was a good size. Definitely wheelchair accessible rooms are available (I've previously stayed in one). Note the reception has a small step to get inside and door is push, so will need assistance to get in if in wheelchair. Overall a good stay and I would stay again.

Clean comfortable rooms fantastic staff excellent customer service our large family had to find accomodation at short notice because if a family tragedy the sanctuary resort motel were very accomodating and made a hard time alot easier for our entire family

Stayed here for a night on our drive down to Sydney.Room size was very big and came with a king bed, couch, small dining table and a fridge.The restaurant at the hotel does close early, from memory last orders need to be in by 6pm. However, 5 min drive down the road there was a GYG and KFC.

I had a great experience at this motel. It was the second time I have stayed here and will definitely stay again when passing through Coffs.The staff were friendly and helpfuland the room we were given was spacious and set in beautiful gardens. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The overflow carpark that we used was still close enough to our room. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
