The Green Elephant - Waterloo

We just adore the green elephant. The staff are incredible. They are so knowledgeable and loving. Fantastic team and great location. They have great classes for the kids: yoga, music, French and such. Really lovely people and diverse group

The Green Elephant Waterloo is an amazing centre that our daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old. The staff are attentive to the needs of each child, and our daughter learns so much each week. We always get a great debrief on how her day has gone, and its evident that a lot of work goes into planning a varied program of activities for the children.

Our daughter has been attending The Green Elephant (TGE) for close to two years. We were previously at another local day care centre that was clean and beautiful, however our daughter would cry and beg us not to take her every morning. When she started at TGE this all changed and she now loves going to day care every day. The facilities are beautiful, lovely outdoor area, wonderful and progressive activities plus an onsite chef! For us, we particular appreciate the incredible love and care our daughter receives from the educators and director. Highly recommend The Green Elephant.

Our family loves The Green Elephant! We liked the friendly welcoming staff, we love your teaching spaces & toys. I'm a big fan of outdoor play so the garden (and garden activities) are definitely a plus.We love the extra activities you organise (Wednesday dancing and Thursday soccer are the best!).It feels great to know my little one loves going to school and feels really comfortable with all her caregivers.

After visiting 10 different daycare centres closer to our new home, nothing even came close to TGE Waterloo! Hands down the cleanest, friendliest and most nurturing environment for our little people. I recommend this centre to all of my friends who are in the area. x

My soon is attending this center since he was 7 months old. I fill so secure to drop him everyday because I am sure he will be in great hands. All staff are so good and they are always with a big smile and energy. I hardly recommend this center.

The staff at TGE are amazing! The genuinely care for and love all the children. I am comfortable leaving both my kids with them because I know they will be well looked after and will feel loved and safe the whole time.The centre is always clean and immaculate. And there is so much space for the kids to play, they follow the children's interests and will go to great lengths to let them take the lead, while providing them with so many new and amazing experiences.I have been to many early childhood centres through my work and TGE Waterloo is one of the best I have ever seen. I honestly don't know how they have managed to uniformly hire such amazing stuff, but I am damn glad they have!

My daughter has been attending The Green Elephant Daycare since March this year. She attends a few day each week and I can only say great things about the centre and the team at TGE. The teams attention to each child is amazing as they seem to treat each as their own. Since March my daughter has flourish with her development particularly noticeable with her social skills.I am not sure of the exact story behind the previous review however this is far from what my husband and I have experienced. It is a fact that kids pick up germs not only at daycare centres but in any environment and our daughter is no exception, at one stage having to miss daycare for a two week period.A a business owner myself it is common sense that it would be impossible not to charge parents when their children do not attend due to sickness, this would ultimately effect the overall quality of care provided to the other children.

Our daughter has been attending this daycare since 2017. It is a wonderful centre with AMAZING staff, facilities, programs and food! Staff are accomodating, caring, patient, attentive, and thoughtful. Facilities are clean and staff create wonderful learning experiences. Programs are inclusive, educational and creative which addresses each child's interest and introduce them to new things. Food is made fresh on site each day. Their menu is healthy and amazing! My husband and I joke how our daughter eats better than we do during the times she is at daycare! They place the kids first and are very supportive of parents. I highly recommend this centre.

A very impressive centre with a dynamic and research based curriculum. Lovely staff who are all highly professional. Excellent communication channels and both children and parents made to feel very welcome and cared for.
