Decrepit old dump of an apartment direct from the 80s. Bored receptionist clearly thinking she’s paid too little to actually greet guests with some form of welcome. Bedside lamps missing bulbs, TV’s with old rabbit-ear aerials that still don’t pick up any channels, turn the light on and the fan stops, turn the fan on and the light stops. Tired, old, dirty, and waaay too expensive for the offering. Shame on you for pretending to be something better.

The only thing good about this apartment was the location and ocean view as all the station and other amenities are nearby.Bathroom fittings are bit old, shower doesn't work properly, taps are leaking. Also, they will ask you to make refundable security deposit of $200 and will deduct money just by giving you stupid reasons which won't be mentioned anywhere in their policy or no one will even inform you. They expect guest to clean dustbins and throw trash bags, otherwise they will deduct the money from your deposit. They have kept their prices little low and recover it by doing unreasonable deductions.Never gonna book these cheaters in future.

3 min walk to the beach 10 min walk to surfers. Rooms were neat and clean. Didn't have amenities like hairdryer. Have to ask to extra blankets. And the aircon smelled abit when started but they immediately came to check.

Booked in for a week , traveling with our adult son . We asked for a bed to put in the lounge .A blow up mattress was here to greet us for my 100kg 6’ son .Asked the lady receptionist for a real mattress to put on the floor . Not overly interested she was Unable to find one in the whole buildingAlso requested repairs for the leaking shower and the fan light with a mind of its own light coming on at random and fan switching off when it got tired .The bedroom didn’t have an air con so we left the door open for lounge air conTo come in . The aircon also would go off on its own (timer) ?? We couldn’t change .No block out curtains so at sunrise the sun would stream in and the bedroom was hot .Would I stay here again no .

Great location a stone throw from the beach. We like the location a little away (less busy) from the centre (you can walk to the central surfers paradise - cavill mall, shops, restaurant, etc - or just take the tram nearby). The apartment is big and really appreciate the amneties kitchen, washing machine, microwave, utensils, etc. Not sure if it is common feature for other hotels/apartments in the area.

Reasonably good value @$186/night. Definitely cheaper with Agoda than booking direct for us. Stayed in a pleasant one bedroom unit (902) 9th floor. Great ocean view. Six min walk to Cavill Ave. Comfortable bed and lounge.Disappointments:-We arrived “after hours” @ 6:30 pm on Friday evening and being fully paid in advance was very annoyed to be fumbling for a credit card, over the phone in the pre-lobby enclosure (“air-lock”) with people coming and going. After retrieving the envelope with the key and instruction note came upstairs to read that we were required present to reception the next morning to ‘check in” or the security tag may be deactivated. Surely they could have taken the security deposit then? Spent the first night without wifi as there was no welcome folio with any of the usual information (ie wifi password). While not unusual for these self contained places to want rubbish out and dishes cleaned - a bit of a stretch requiring all bench tops to be wiped. Surprised stripping the bed wasn’t requested too. Come on people, at this price pay for an extra 15 min of cleaning time. Speaking of which, more attention needs to be paid to the bottom of the wardrobe where we observed dust and short curly black hairs (?).
