Great quiet spot for a picnic and a paddle. Don't let kids in the water tho, very dangerous rips and sudden drop off. There is a bit of a walk in from the Carpark with steep, long stretch of steps.

It’s a beauty. Nice and lovely beach. But from car park to beach it’s 180 step. So if you have physical condition I’ll recommend that you think before you go down. But after all the hard work , when you see the beach, you will love it.

After struggling to get down the huge amount of steps, the bay was glorious. Pristine. Absolutely breathtaking. Struggled harder to get back up, but it was worth it. Not for ill health people, bad backs, operations, etc. Nelson bay has flat walk I'm told.
