My husband and I had booked online for our 5th covid booster. We have taken on board advice from NSW Health to wait the 6 months. The receptionist was not helpful and unprofessional. As a retired healthcare professional I was taken by surprise at her off hand manner. Her first snap was have you filled out the form. ( to my thought process I should check in letting staff know I’m here and then fill out the form). Then we were asked is it 6 months since a booster or covid infection.Yes we had covid in December. What date. I answered the 15th.Waving her hand and counting on her fingers. She informed us we probably aren’t eligible. This conversation was held in a public area. I found it awkward talking about my immune status in the foyer where the public could hear.My concerns areReceptionist are not health care professionals and therefore should not provide advice on health care matters.Don’t do the math in such a condescending where other people waiting can hear this conversation.I had worked it out in weeks and it was 6 months exactly. We advised the staff member we would go else where.Within a half hour we have had our 5th booster at the chemist. We were treated very differently and asked appropriate questions to ascertain if we were eligible. As a side note we were contacted by the health care centre to come back and a nurse would speak with us.No thank you.

The front reception staff are so rude when you call tham. They will hang up without answering your questions.I wish we could go somewhere but unfortunately no choice. Doctors are always nice, the management really need to pay attention on their receptionists.

I wish to give this place no stars.I have been coming here for ages and no doctors were believing my symptoms. I was trying new doctors for someone to know what’s going on but. That blonde receptionist. Has a disrespectful mouth. So I went out of town to another doctors to be diagnosed. please teach people about EDS. And stop feeding people antidepressants like it’s candy. That’s not going to help. Also another occasion my brother had a living insect in his ear one of your doctors prescribed him antibiotic drops not even looked at what’s going onMy brother asked me to take him again so this time I came with him and again that blonde hair receptionist asking “why you coming here to see a doctor second time today” because no one checked him properly and she has the hide to say I’ll get security haha this lady. Anyways got seen thank you doctor Wendy for helping my brother remove a bug in his earNever will be using this place again. It’s a circus

Today I attended this practice for a routine skin check and had to wait over an hour and 15 minutes for my appointment. Apparently the doctor was held up due to carrying out “procedures” but it would have been courteous and less stressful to be told of the delay by one of the staff.Maybe a little more thought for patients please!

Long wait times. Front desk ladies are usually rude. You get the service you’d expect from a bulk billing practice. I come here for basic things but anything serious and I wouldn’t trust them.Especially avoid DR. ELMIRA. She’s a capital B with a nasty attitude to her patients. Had a couple run ins with her and mentioned it to other staff who acknowledged that behaviour from her is common. “Oh Dr Elmira? She in a mood again is she? Yeah don’t worry about her”. Well no, I shouldn’t have to worry about her as a patient trying to see a decent Dr!Edited to respond to the owner’s response:Congrats, that’s a major improvement from the 40+ minutes I waited only about 4 months ago, with an appointment. But I only made reference to the wait times in a whole 3 words of my review. You seem to have missed the main point highlighting the rude attitude of most of the staff and the consistently poor customer service. It’s just an overall unfriendly medical practice and that’s all there is to it. Cheers for your political but weak reply.

I have the same experience with the front desk staff specially a lady name Kathe she is so rude. when i was asking my last invoice she said she can't print out you need to come back again after 2 days which is ridiculous. Moreover, when i turn i notice that she was laughing at me from the back of me anyhow the doctor from that medical center are best they are very helpful and cooperative I really appreciate there service and afford.Further, they don't have the card or different payment system for migrant.I read the owner comment in all and they said they have small amount of people who pay by card but still they need to think for those people that's not the appropriate answer. it's not a small small shop, even now a days small shop they have card payments.Further, they need to train the admin staff very well because, everyone give a bad comments on that.

I really don’t like this medical centre & only attend when everywhere else is booked out.You have to wear a mask, they don’t have any free ones so you must buy one from the chemist for $1.50There is always a problem too. Either over an hour wait time or the doctor calls in sick & they leave a voice message without the forward thought of reassignment to another doctor first.I’ve even had one of the female doctors tell me they don’t do daycare clearances following an absence “I can’t sign off that the child doesn’t have any other viruses incase they aren’t presenting symptoms yet”Also, the front desk staff are, in my opinion, rude and unhelpful.

The doctors and nursing this place are amazing but the service at the front desk is very worst. The most important part is for other visa holders(like tourist and student visa holders)who don’t have Medicare card they always ask to pay by cash , and they don’t wanna take the payment by card. Last time I was there with my sick baby and the pharmacy downstairs was closed and we have to run all the way to Mittagong shopping centre to withdraw cash. And the lady at the front put us through the queue to see doctor only after doing payment.Overall very bad experience with this medical centre.

I have attend this practise on many occasions, most recently for a motor vehicle accident that I was involved in.I had never had any issues with the front counter staff previously and the doctors had always been helpful and seemed from my lamen point of view professional. Today however, I came in to ask for my medical records for the insurance for my aforementioned accident.I was told an outright no I cannot have the information on my medical record & that it can only be obtained by third party insurers and the like. I challenged the front counter staff and asked to speak to the manager they has just received this information from, as they are legally obliged to provide me with either the information requested, or a written explanation as to why it was refused along with the avenues I can pursue to either complain or seek to have the matter resolved.I was taken to the Ann, whom I was told is the centre manager in her office. She rudely waved her finger in my face and told me the restrictions on my own medical information come from those above her (suggesting she has no power as the centre manager to give me copies of the two certificates of capacity I required [i have previously had information from my medical record without issue for an unrelated matter] and that I would have to take it up with them.) I asked for the information to contact them and she outright refused.I showed her the Office of Australian Information Commissioner website (OAIC) (Government website providing information about when you can and can’t obtain your personal health record. You’d expect it to be common knowledge in this field but at this practise it apparently is unheard of) and what they are required to give me. She called the police to have me removed instead. I was not violent or aggressive or rude even though that is how I was being treated with Ann waving her finger in my face & telling me I had no idea about the situation. I simply had an understanding of my rights and know their “house policy” simply does not supersede these.I called the commissioner’s office directly, and was given the information under the Privacy Act of 1988 that she should by rights, considering her position, have at least an understanding of. I tried to pass her onto the phone to speak with the commissioner’s office directly. I gave her the number of the commissioner’s office directly, as instructed by the commissioner’s office, to try and have the matter resolved. She had zero interest of resolving any of the matter & dismissed the fact the office even existed. She walked out of her office and closed the door (leaving me in there for over 15mins) in the interest of protecting me from my own information, however leaving EVERY OTHER PATIENTS information in piles of paper all around me. There was a considerable amount of information that was not mine, left completely unprotected for that entire time. I have no interest whatsoever in other’s information. I was there to progress my own situation. However, I found it perplexing considering I was being protected from my own information yet, left in a room with literally piles of other patients information.I am simply flabbergasted at the lack of concern for all the patient information that was left unprotected in a room that I was being asked to stay in, unsupervised, while the police arrived. It was only when I brought it to their attention that they came in to remove the piles of paperwork somewhere else.I would recommend not going there now, unless you don’t mind the management of your personal information being grossly incompetent and (illegal from a basic standpoint) not at all available to you, whom the record is about.Reply:My behaviour, there was no threats, no raised voice, no action except to challenge your obligations as a health care provider.Your refusal to allow access to my own record breaks the Privacy Act 1988.Also casts doubts about whether you’ve added visits that I have not been there for….

I’ve been here a few times just for checkups or minor things and I’ve never had a problem with the doctors, they’re helpful and lovely. The receptionists on the other hand, down right awful attitude. Even if you’re super polite to them, they throw in a nasty comment here or there just to get a kick out of it.
