Hard to get a booking, a great community pub, had a raffle going, many many choices, sitting outside was great, the boss wheeled the heater closer for us. Not to noisy so was easy to talk. Food was great, I ordered the Salmon but the Iamb shank was Flintstones size. Tip: Look at your table number, Order up the front and order your drinks at bar, was easy though. I will be back, but I want to win a raffle prize please

The food is your basic pub food with a menu of all the meals that you would/ could have at home. You can tell that the chef is up to speed with sauces and dressings and the standard that the meals are cooked at but their talent is wasted by the lack of any decent diversity in the menu that would be commensurate with their talent-

The place was booked out when we called, but were told that outside tables can't be reserved.We found a table under the marquee and were told we could have it till the people who reserved it turned up.We had drinks and food and no one turned up.The food was tasty and arrived quickly for a busy evening

Good simple food for the most of it. Parkas are good. Mash is good. Cooked vegies are great. Gold King whiting was disappointing - your average tasteless fish&chips. The stuff are very nice and the place has very positive atmosphere.

The owner Michael is quite rude.I was there having a drink to commemorate the recent (not even a week ago) tragic and sudden loss of my dad, who Michael openly didn't like, and when a family was seated next to us he dumped a dirty baby high chair right at our table, said nothing, made zero eye contact and just walked away.Even if he didn't recognize me, I was clearly distraught; what if I was drinking there with my partner after a miscarriage and he unceremoniously dumped a dirty baby chair next to me?Great tavern with great food and the rest of the staff are just lovely.But no customer service or decency from the owner.

This is one of those places you just go into and you feel welcome. The service was excellent and despite being a busy, sunny, summer Sunday afternoon we got our meals in a fairly short amount of time and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Can't ask much more from a place than that.
