Victoria Point State High School

This school is ok. It’s nothing compared to other schools in case of education. The facilities are nice and brand new and so are the teachers. The teachers are nice and caring but don’t do a well enough job of educating students. Which i think that staff have to improve on. There’s a lot of vaping happening and you can see a lot of older students also doing drugs every now and then. A lot of fights break out and it makes it very uncomfortable for new students to be at school.

Lots of bullies and cirminals running around there. Police shows up there daily

What a disgrace. Students from your school were escorted out of Victoria Point Shopping Centre today (25/11/22) while I was sitting at the Coffee Club with my 9 year old. Every second word was a vile swear word. I felt sorry for the security guard. These kids are representing your school while wearing your uniform. If the parents don’t care enough to teach these kids proper manners, then the poor teachers at your school don’t stand a chance. The once beautiful Bayside is no better than Logan at this stage.

I wish we had taken the reviews and feedback received about this school more seriously before sending our children here!Very disappointed with the lack of proactive guidance and effective disciplinary action provided by this school. Their solution to any tricky situation, no matter how major or minor or if its a childs first time or one of many incidents, is lengthy suspensions so they don't have to actual deal with the problems at hand.They are children, they are going to slip up, that's why we send them to school in the hope they'll receive the right guidance and education but instead this school is meddling with childrens futures by not providing an eduction that all children deserve and are intitle to. Loosely handed out suspensions of up to 10% of a school year at a time are absolutely outrageous!This school has also demonstrated no care or understanding of the unhealthy stress it places on families they put in these situations.

most teachers only care about themselves. i know so many people that get bullied by students and teachers and ask for help for nothing to happen and get ignored. they wonder why everyone skips school.

School has gone really badly downhill since I enrolled my child in 2020. Do not recommend this school to anyone enrolling they’re children in the area.

Teachers dont care about mental health or bullying or actually educating you about important things, they body shame not only myself but friends also. this is the armpit of the redlands

Best school ever 17/10 this school has everything:- Fights everyday- Teachers not caring about students- Bad learning environment- really poor in helping people with their health, engagement and learning- a bunch of children and teenagers vaping and smoking constantly- teenagers smoking crack-the uniform and dress code is too strict (you can’t even wear your hair down or even grow a beard/ moustache)And more…

What a disgraceful, shameful and helpless place this is. Kids get bullied on a daily basis and even beat eachother up severely - the school does nothing against it. You see in the older comments that the school has had the same problems for YEARS. Dont send your kids here please - maybe if they find their dignity
