Overall the motel is what you pay for, the staff are very friendly and eager to assist. The rooms are suitable for a 2-3 stay maximum, however the bed was hard (not bad if you enjoy that). Rooms are 2 star but service and location are a 4 star. Great for a small stay.

This motel sucks. The room was damp and dirty, and at night the windows overhead would rattle whenever there was a wink, making it extremely difficult to sleep. You could hear people passing in the corridor in the morning. The service is basically non exist and the attitude is very poor, don't expect them to offer to change your toiletries.

Very run down. Nothing to hang towels on - towel rails and hooks all broken. Bathroom sink looked like it was about to fall off wall. Very dusty. Paint peeling off walls. Double bed was so close to cupboard and fridge that it was difficult to open. It was cheap, but I still think over priced for what you get.

June 2023.The most horrific place I could have stayed in Hobart.Hazards everywhere. Shower leaking due to missing tiles. Unsafe staircase.I would rather sleep in a car than stay here ever again.Owner doesn’t care at all and staff hung up on me when I tried to address this.Don’t stay if you have allergies to dust, like clean rooms, hate the smell of vomit, don’t like slipping over due to no lights, don’t like getting electrocuted, getting randomly locked out of areas of the hotel you need to access to get back to your room, or only 3 channels on tv.If you stay in winter, be prepared to go to bed fully clothed in layers as the heater emitted a smell that took over the whole room, and even through bearing with that, it would only heat the room by morning. Decent heaters from Kmart cost $25.The only reason I didn’t change hotels was because everything was sold out because I was in town during Dark Mofo. It’s not in a super convenient location, there are certainly other similar priced accomodation nearby that would be a far better choice than this place.I will be reporting all of this to the council because I am worried about people hurting themselves in this place.

We called to ask for a refund for my father who passed away and unable to stay at the hotel after making reservation in January. Reply from Manager: ...not my problem

Affordable, yet you got a very decent room with ensuite. There’s a slight smell of cleaning chemical but it means they clean the room well!Plus, although it’s not in the CBD, it still has a pretty great location!

Black mould on blinds , smelly room, broken toilet seat( wife almost ended up on the floor) had to clean fan for dirt was stuck to it , had bed bugs . People in the corridor and Roma fighting all night. It was basically a flophouse ( Boarding House) . Carpet on the stairs all broken , trip hazard. Badly broken window and no air conditioning. We went there over the Christmas Holliday , January, my wife left a review on trip advisor but did not make it onto the net , here is my review. The House Manager was friendly and helpful . Really gross place. Peeling paint and rusting everywhere. Carpet is old, stained and smells nasty. The toilet flush buttons constantly get stuck. The bathroom mirror is disgusting looking. The shower has no door so it the entire bathroom gets flooded. The stairs that lead up to the second story are seriously dangerous as the rails are too short.

Okay the location was great. That's the only positive. The rooms were genuinely gross. The toilet and sink hadn't been cleaned and there was hair on the shower wall. The carpet was gross and there were holes in the floor under the carpet which would trip me up. Glad we only stayed for a quick overnight stay.

It was a comfy little room with pleasant and helpful staff and in a good location ~15 from the wharf. While it was affordable our room did have a quite yucky bathroom where the door was rotting from the open shower. Suitable for a short stay.
