Italian Cafe a Roma

I will start with the positive, that the staff were friendly and got coffee and breakfast out quickly. But I do have some concerns about there interpretation of Eggs Benedict.I ordered Eggs Benedict on Sourdough - it needs some improvement.The sourdough was just bread if it was sourdough it was not great quality. There was some ham slapped on the bread looked like straight out of the bag. Eggs were poached and cooked well but were slapped on top and then the entire plate was covered in what must have been a squeeze bottle Dijon mustard, so much Dijon!Benedict usually goes- sourdough, cooked spinach, lightly cooked ham, poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce. You could add a little Dijon to the side to mix it up. But what I got was not really Eggs Benedict. More like 2 poached eggs on toast subbing bacon for deli ham with a lot of Dijon.My Italian mother in law would have had things to say. Presentation of the food was not great, was probably the lowest quality eggs bene I have ever had.

Lovely staff, made very welcome. Nice feel about the place. Had a yummy chicken vol a vent and lovely coffee. Will go again. Have always been partial to anything Italian.

First thing I noticed was how comfortable & warm the Cafe was.. the owner welcomed us & the breakfast was delivered to our table promptly... We will definitely be going back !!

Nice cafe, good quality food, owner and staff always seem welcoming. Lots of in house foods made fresh, worth a visit.

I recommend it for serving smaller sized desserts which are just enough for sweet tooth who wanna have afternoon tea after proper lunches.

Nice friendly service. Lovely food from toasted sandwiches and wraps to crepes pancakes and drinks. Well presented.

Great food, friendly service, nice place to relax with the newspaper. Cake and coffee. Warm and toasty fire in the cold weather, too.
