Excellent. Staff were conscious of cleanliness. Waitress commended our order and she was right. We wanted ice cream so we were taken to pick our gelato. Excellent service. The last time we ate here, we sat outside. It was so busy our order was forgotten it seemed. We were given coffee first with our morning tea coming much much later like it was forgotten. Pleased to see more staff here today. Prices are reasonable and the meals are great with enough on the plate to warrant the price. The Gelato is something else … definitely try the blood orange sorbet - very very good. Certainly cleans the palate. Can highly recommend this place

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. The food was extremely overpriced, not tasty and served cold. The coffee was mediocre and took 30 minutes to arrive. When the eggs we had ordered as sides to our mains had not arrived for 20 minutes after our toast was served, the manager was rude and not apologetic. When we went to pay, the manager was rude and aggressive to wait staff, even though it was his service that was appalling. Will never go again. Would have rated 0 but this wasn’t an option.

This is a must try cafe in Hunter Valley that is perfect for everyone. I've always wanted something suitable for the whole family (not just fine dining and charcuterie boards).Eden Grounds has top quality food that you'd expect from Hunter Valley, in a convenient location. It's next to Hunter Valley Gardens, so you can get breakfast before or lunch after going to the Gardens.We loved that we could get affordable and delicious main meals here, in a family friendly cafeWe dined on:♦️Bruschetta - whipped slow cooked garlic feta, heirloom tomatoes, olive crumb, basil, sourdough.♦️Roast cauliflower- burnt butter, pepitas and raisins.♦️Eden pasta - Roasted tomato and capsicum sauce, chorizo, olive, eggplant, pinenuts.♦️Harissa Spiced Chicken - pearl cous cous risotto, minted yoghurt, dukkah and herbs.♦️Pork Belly Special - this just melted in our mouthsTo drink:♦️2021 Usher Tinkler Prosecco & Tyrells Estate Grown Shiraz♦️Cold Pressed Juices- Valencia Orange, and Daybreak (carrot, apple, pineapple and ginger).

Eden Grounds - WOW!!!! I have been left speechless! I cannot rate this restaurant higher!! The food is absolutely incredible and the service is fantastic. Not to mention the location is picturesque. 5+++++ stars from me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Shocking experience. Visit taste of the country instead. Overly priced, misleading menus, extensive wait times, incorrect orders, not enough food, rudest manager I have ever experienced. Our orders were put through incorrectly, four of us ordered identical and simple dishes. Waited 30+ minutes for coffee and 50+ minutes for food. Once food came half of the dish was missing. The manager chucked us 4x $5 notes to “compensate”, although this was not really what we were after and he did not let us communicate or converse with him. Wait staff were lovely and were clearly apologetic, but not being treated well by the manager. An extremely disappointing start to the day.

We had an awesome dining experience the staff were so welcoming and friendly the service of food was fast and was of high standard and so tasty. We will be back again highly recommended to anyone visiting the area to give this place a try

Disappointing is an understatement. Booked for Mother Day lunch. Turned up and no table had been reserved, nor did they have a working tablet or list of reservations at entry. We were led to a dirty table with a grubby highchair. Decided to relocate to a table undercover due to having a young child. Waited 20 minutes and we were still waiting to be given menus or offered table water. No one came so we found our own menus. We were given cutlery and were told someone would be back to take our order, this never happened. The staff seemed to lack direction or understanding of their roles for the day. The person, who I assume was the manager, seemed more interested in playing the part than actually ensuring that the restaurant ran smoothly. Walked out after being in the restaurant for 45 minutes and overheard another staff member saying there would be a 45 minute wait on food. I don’t doubt that we would still be waiting to be served. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will not be returning until it changes owners. Such a waste of a beautiful location.

Service not overly attentive, no clear signage on ordering or seating. Poor quality coffee served in dirty cups (dried spinach left on the cups?) with poor quality but expensive food (toast not even toasted).

Just awful! Don’t normally leave reviews but this place was woeful! Must be under new management or something as we went there about a year ago and it was great. Waited ages for drinks, food came out and the fish and chips was the saddest meal ever. 3 tiny bits of “barramundi” and we counted 7 chips. No sauce, just as very limp salad. Asked for a sauce. Never came. $27. Don’t bother.
