Insufficient outside seating. When I inquired about this I was told they are new owners and are doing thing differently. One table is not enough! Ordered bacon and eggs with sour dough toast. 2 eggs, 1 piece of bacon and 1 undercooked piece of bread. Bread was underdone and appeared to have been cooked on a hot plate or frying pan on one side only and had no butter and tasted of used cooking oil. Not worth the money.New name of this place is the Buttered Scone.

Stopped at this place for breaky passing through town. The chef (also the owner i think) was so warm and welcoming. Although we had a simple breaky of sourdough toast and eggs it was perfect. Customer service 10/10.

It's difficult to find real food in most Hunter Valley towns. This little place in Scone had good food, coffee& service! I had a nice Sunday morning breakfast on way back to Sydney.
