I was so fortunate to have Jess as my first teacher of Italian. For me it was a joyful year being introduced to language immersed with all things Italian. Jess was so encouraging as a teacher . She understands adult learning and the best way for her students to learn. My love of the Italian language and culture continues which I attribute to my start in my Italian journey with Jess.

I was fortunate enough to have Jess as my first Italian teacher and I owe my progress to her. It is rare to find someone who cares about her students as much as Jess. She is incredibly patient and takes the time to make sure that you understand the grammar concepts and never hesitates to offer extra reading material and exercises which she then reviews. Her enthusiasm for teaching and love for languages is infectious and her friendly nature makes learning a new language fun and exciting. She is a great teacher, coach and mentor, flexible and completely focussed on supporting your learning. How do I know this? Well, I went to Jessica with a specific request. I wanted to sit for the Italian language test for citizenship. Jessica found out what was required and developed and delivered lessons around the themes and topics of the test.
