What a great meal. Home made pie for hubby and freshly crumbed prawn cutlets for me. What a bonus free camp and very reasonable amazing meal. Compliments to the hotel and chef. Can highly recommend.

First time visiting, all the way from Perth. Amazing pies with chips and gravy. Not sure who this cat belongs to but was very friendly and sat with us for our meal haha.

Pinnacle Family Hotel
First time going to this pub ,went there with some family for a good feed, we waited 1 hour for us to receive our food, we found a long hair in our nachos, the gravy that was on the pie was thicker than custard, the service was ordinary lack of taking orders, bringing out food and rude, while all my family were digging into their disappointing meals I had to wait and extra 40 mins for them to bring out my beef burger that just fell apart on delivery, the BLT we order also had a long hair in it and the bread was soggy.If you want to waste half your life waiting for food that won’t exceed your expectations and like to cough up hair after your meal go right ahead, this would have to be a negative in the ratings.

A very iconic place. Being from the states we have never had this meal before and were excited to have our first meat pie!! The crust was nice and flaky and the gravy was fantastic!!

Pinnacle Family Hotel
Good old-style Pies and gravy with peas.We went on a Wenesday afternoon, and there was no rush at all.The size of the pie is enormous compared to your average pie.Please see the photos for further details.Good seat out area and an excellent location.The Toilets are old school and need to be tidied up.They are famous for their crumbed stake as well, and the size of these stakes is enormous.

Great vibe, Great spot. Great staff. Not so great meals unfortunately. I had a Chicken Burger with overcooked, dry tenders and a bun that had been toasted for so long that when you bite into it, it disintegrated like bread crumbs. Quite unpleasant to eat.Also ordered a 1kg beef schnitzel. Whilst not overcooked, it looked dark and dirty (like cooked in old oil or deep fried in too high of heat) and 500g of the 1kg is the crumb (its thick). The 1kg schnitzel also only comes with a very small amount of gravy (same as you get with the 500g schnitty).Would absolutely go again just for the vibe, however, some improvements need to be done - in particular with food that is deep fried. The Pinnacle is famous for its pies though, so perhaps that's where we went wrong.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Eungella. Best and most delicious pie I ever had. Big portion size meal. Nice outdoor and indoor sitting area and Very friendly staff. Kids play area as well on site.

Pinnacle Family Hotel
We visited the pub to try the monster crumb steaks and we weren’t disappointed! The full (2nd photo) and half (1st photo) crumbies are delicious and if you ask for extra gravy they definitely know what extra gravy means.I have eaten their pies previously too and they are also amazing and massive! If you haven’t been here before put it on the must do list, you won’t be disappointed!
