Chada Traditional Thai Massage

Both partner and me had massage. Deep tissue massage started okay pressure, but then softened off 5 mins in and even stopped when she thought I was asleep, disappearing for minutes at a time. I expect when you play for 90 minutes you get a 90 minute massage. Partner had a half hour foot massage that went for 25 minutes max and did not massage whole foot. Massages were not up to standard. Very disappointing.

I was here 2 yrs ago when last in Darwin (enjoyed it) and was a little hesitant after reading the more recent reviews but decided to return anyway for a 1hour deep tissue massage. Noi was great at reading my body and worked out many muscle knots. I walked out feeling much better than I walk in! I have rebooked another appointment

Credit where credit is due but unfortunately, not in this case. Tried this place a few times (Thai massage, cupping, relaxation) and left disappointed. They can understand when it comes to taking the money but when you complain about the service - difficulties understanding.Massages are inconsistent - what some do on one side of the body, is different on the other side - i felt unbalanced. Pressure drops off and it feels like they just can't be bothered.The receptionist is loud and staff talk up and down the hallway, makes it hard to enjoy the already poor effort of a massage that you're paying $120 for.Three of my massages have been cited short by at least 16-20 monsterSo if you get one, make sure you look at the time in the room, when they start - not when they walk in and take 15 mins to set up and try and deduct it from your time.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!

I went there for headaches and neck tention. I was really impressed with the service from start to finish. Very welcoming staff and the massage itself was fantastic and got to the sore points. I'll be back!

I had my second remedial massage todayat Chada which was amazing. Mai (my apologies if I have her name wrong) found and worked on the knots around my neck, shoulders and back. I walked out of there feeling relaxed and so much better. Will be back soon.

I got a massage, talked into getting 1 hour rather than 30 mins.The girl was really poor, didn't seem to know what she was doing whatsoever but she got someone to take over for about 5 minute who was absolutely amazing, but that was short lived.Only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the 5 mins massage I actually received.$80 was way over prices for what I got, but if you get the right person it would be worth it.

I booked in for a birthday relaxation massage with my partner and ended up saying “Ouch go softer” every 5-minutes.It’s been 2-days since my massage and I’ve been experiencing headaches and tension in my neck. My left shoulder is also tender to touch.I walked in feeling good and left with what feels like a shoulder injury and headaches.My partner went in with a sore back and left feeling worse

Had an appointment here for massage and cupping therapy.They didn’t ask me any questions prior to the session.there are many medical conditions where cupping Therapy is prohibited, how could they possibly know if they didn’t screen me.More training required. And this is pretty basic stuff. My second issue is the therapist did not listen to my feedback to apply less pressure during massage this resulted in bruising.again a very basic concept.definitely don’t recommend until they sort their practices out. One last point when the therapist indicated something wasn’t right with the cupping and 3people come in and discuss what’s wrong in another language in front of me then come up with nonsensical explanation shows a very unprofessional work practice.

They are wonderful and Em keeps me moving. Love the staff and the massage.

The worst deep tissue massage ever! No technique and was just rubbing and squeezing my neck and back. “Masseuse” definitely not trained and should not be performing deep tissue massages. At times she was tapping my neck and my head - similar to what you would get from a relaxing massage. I had to ask what massage I was getting and she confirmed this was deep tissue with hot stone. Waste of time and money. Got a real deep tissue masssage at Bodybar up the road.
