There is a shuttle bus service that now runs in the town and surrounds. There is also a new aviation museum and café that serves great coffee, snacks and light lunches. Open 7 days 1000 hrs to 1600 hrs. Located adjacent to the terminal building.

This is an excellent airfield from which to launch long-distance cross-country soaring flights in gliders. There are two gliding operations on the site - one is a club and the other is a commercial business. In their own ways, they both provide excellent facilities and are friendly and supportive. My gliding club has operated a Summer Camp from this airfield over recent years during late December - early January. #YTOC - see current ERSA for latest information.

Great airstrip 09,18,27, 36. Plenty of GA parking The airport or flying club is open for visitors .. 2.5 km walk to town as no cabs.. but i need it!! There is a shuttle bus but can be hard to get.
