Cannon Hill Family Doctors

I've been going here for about a year and have few consultation with Dr. Aixia and Dr. Devika and I am pretty happy with the experience with them. I liked how they were taking my health concerns seriously with asking me further questions.Happy with GPs but giving 4 starts as little poor service on the receiption. Sending me an invoice that's already been paid on the day (made payment right after seeing the Dr., and this was only to get the results)

Just dreadful. My daughter was misdiagnosed at 3 years old while having pneumonia and got very very sick. Now we just use this doctor for close by non urgent scripts etc. My husband had a phone consult at 9 this morning which got shifted to 12:40. At 2:40 he rang saying he is still waiting and was told he'd get a call in 15 mind. At 3:40 we fronted up in person only to be told that the doctor is not there and makes the calls in between appointments at the hospital!!!!!! Will never ever go here again. Terrible

I have been going here for years and agree with the one stars.A little while back I popped in on a Saturday after grocery shopping hoping to get a walk in appointment for a script.The lady behind the counter said no more appointments are available. Today, I then asked if I could book one tomorrow. She replied they aren't open Sundays. ( I thought they must have changed their opening hours as I have been there many times on a Sunday ).I then asked for a phone appointment/ consult on the following Monday for a script, she wasn't happy taking the appointment but booked it in.When I left the sign on the front door said open Sundays to 3 pm. I drove back there on the Sunday just to see if they were open, surprise, surprise of course they were and no one phoned me on the Monday.Another incident that happened here was so concerning and unbelievable I'm not going to post it as it would probably sound like I have made it up.I'm currently on the lookout for a new Doctor

I have been looking for a doctor who cares and listens and most of all non-judgemental. I have found her here at Cannon Hill Family Doctor. I have been looking since November last year. I have tried other doctors in the redland area with no luck. She did not treat me like I was disrupting her time, she really cares about my health. The front reception was so helpful and friendly. I have had to neglect my health for months due to not been able to find a great and excellent doctor. Thank you Dr Saeedeh Arvandi, I am very grateful for all you care.

This practice has the worst receptionist. The way she spoke to me was utterly disgusting. She was incredibly rude and told me that i was “a waste of time”. When I told her that it is not okay for her to say that to me she literally LAUGHED and said that is what the doctors have told her, in her words exactly... “the doctors have told me that you are a waste of time”. The way this practice treats their patients is unprofessional, unethical, and just disgraceful. I have just read other comments as well and i have realised i am not the only one to experience this. I think there has to be something seriously done here and I will be taking the steps further to escalate this. No medical practice should be treating their patients this way.

Today I took my 2yo in to see one of the doctors. He was sick and irritable and I desperately needed someone to look at him thoroughly as my normal doctor is a few days wait. She refused to swab his nose or check his ears because he was crying. My normal doctor would just get it all done quickly, hand us a lollipop and be on our way. Her awful attitude upset my son further and we both left in tears.

I have been a long time patient here and I can agree with previous reviews that the receptionists have been curt and rude. However, I think they have changed staff as in recent visits they have been professional, polite and efficient.Dr Abraham is the absolute best. He will always crack a joke to put a smile on your face, and also listen attentively and provide effective health solutions without making you feel like there is any rush. He also respects patient autonomy and involvement in decisions that concern their own treatment by fully explaining everything which I love.I have been to one other doctor at this clinic and had a substandard experience so would recommend booking with Dr Abraham.

Exceptionally rude receptionist. She did not inform when is next appointment available. Kept asking for paying cancellation fees.Add on Doctor prescribed half tests done. Did give me a run to get my own bloody reports from them.

Tried making a booking through HotDoc they don't respond to it or attempt to confirm it until the day/time of the appointment, of which they obviously decline through HotDoc with no reason given. I booked well in advance, it just seems they were too lazy to confirm it.Much like everyone else in these reviews, when I actually managed to have an appointment I had to deal with the rude, arrogant, and downright disrespectful front desk lady. Blows my mind she has all these reviews and still has a job.

The way the receptionist spoke to my wife when she called to try and rebook an appointment was absolutely disgusting. Obviously the doctors are unaware or don't care because judging by the reviews we are not the only one's to have this experience.Lucky it's a bulk billing clinic because they likely would have no buisness with that rude and unprofessional individual as the first point of contact.
