The team at Shortcuts listen to what we need more than ever in the fasted paced, client focused industry that we work in. They push the barriers and help us continue to build on our guests experience in salon and in between their visits. We are just about to add some new features in that we are very excited about. We have been impressed with Shortcuts thus far. The addition of the cloud has been especially helpful. The online booking form has some issues that takes time to iron out. Overall we have felt supported; especially from our case manager Jonathan. I have worked with Shortcuts for over 12 yrs. I am always impressed with there continual advancements, improvements and support.Shortcuts recently helped me implement my salon app and managed my google business which has improved customer interaction therefore leading to more bookings.Having help desk hour support and cloud based reporting is invaluable for me when working late hours or weekends were I am not at my desk.I would not use any other software for my business.

Beware of there unethical contracts and sneaky lock you in mentality.They tie you into long contracts and conveniently don't mention that when you upgrade to a new feature the contract starts againEven though there competitors offer month to month they lock there customers in with unethical sneaky contracts.We have been a loyal client for 4 years. I thought I would only have to give 30 days notice to cancel our subscription as our initial contract was finished two years ago.We went to cancel and have been told we still have to pay a further six months after I have already swapped to another more modern provider. As shortcuts is outdated and is lacking the user friendly features needed for a modern booking system we had to change over.We have been locked into another contract after we added an additional 2 licenses to operate additional computers six months ago.They used this to lock us in for 12 months with no one explaining the order from. So we thought we had signed to get the additional licences and they have locked us into a contract that no one explanation and it was not clear.They refuse to speak over the phone and send very short emails with no compassion or understanding. Pretty much pay or we will send debt collection.We are seeking legal advice for this as it’s unethical and I would rather spend the 2.5 K on a lawyer than pay for something that is unethical.I would not recommend.

After being with shortcuts for 17 years i finally woke up and started searching other companies . During the pandemic i begged shortcuts to put on hold our monthly subscription as Victorians were shut down for a long time . Shortcuts refused to help us in anyway, lucky i only had a few months left on my contract after the pandemic and i found a company that doesn’t t charge you fees your clients pay for it through the eftpos fees so i add 1.9% to every trans action NO Banks Fees No Shortcut monthly Fees .Shortcuts you need to look at your competitors. .
