Bear Gully Campground
Best campsite, super clean drop toilet, sleep with calming wave sound, the sky was full of stars, lots of wildlife around… Went there during weekday, it was not too crowded. Make sure book online in advance and bring your own firewood. The picnic table lookout view is awesome. Can’t wait to camp here again!

Great camping area with heaps of sites. Plenty of fireplaces and a good drop toilet. Never more than 100m from the water. Mostly rock beaches so not ideal for swimming. Brilliant views of the prom and it's many peaks.

Book way ahead. It's a cheap and convenient location. I think people book ahead if they can go but wear the cost if they can't. Small campground. Some secluded sites. Check it out first and note camp site numbers for future bookings. Great spot just for a day trip from Melbourne and suburbs. Good for shells, swimming and walks, but check the tides

Book well ahead.Very quiet campground. Some are larger sites and suit large caravans. We have a 16ft van and had site No 19. Would only suit a single van though, or a few tents. Definitely not 2 vans. It's long but not wide.Site 19 is next to the toilets which is good and bad....sometimes you smell the toilets if the wind is blowing your way and the doors bang alot, but you're also close to the toilets! This site is away from other too which is good.Toilets are spotless though and have toilet paper supplied by parks.Beach is really nice and lots of birds around. Had a friendly wombat wander by and stop for a bum scratch against our caravan tyre.

Beautiful campground close to rocky beach with some wildlife. Sites should be really numbered better, no bin to drop garbage (take it along while leaving), clean dry toilet (3 to share with all sites). No drinking water, make sure to bring plenty. Wildlife includes wombat, encinda, fox who is after people's garbage bags (be aware, do not leave without attention while going to beach example) and lovely colourful parrots who are used to people, so you can easily feed them. We booked bigger site as we had 2 tents and 2 cars. Loved the stay!

It was even nice although being so cold this Easter. This is a family favourite, a simple campground. Bookings have to be made in advance. It's a neat camp spot, rwith heaps of room to set up. The beach is not great for swimming but more fishing and exploring. Can't wait to go back this Christmas holidays.

I visited the campground purely to access the spectacular coastline. Arriving on the day after Melbourne's 3rd lockdown was lifted I noted that only one campsite was occupied. The 5km dirt road to the campground was in good condition, though I was surprised to see 3 foxes on different parts of this dirt road in broad daylight around 8am. I spent several hours heading towards Walkerville on the beachfront. The rock formations are simply spectacular but beware that it seemed virtually impossible to get around some of them and eventually I decided not to push my luck! I strongly recommend timing any walk here to be within an hour or two of low tide. It is an unspoilt part of Victoria and in the 3 hours I was there I did not see another person either at the campground or on the beach.

Accessible to beach, spectcular view, coral formations, small rock pools, and have toilets in the campground. Can see wildlife, birds and small walking trails for hikers.

The campground itself is steps away from the beach... which is amazing. It's a low key campground but bookings have to be made via Parka Vic to stay here. It's a tidy campground, really spacious spots to set yourself up. Picnic tables are new and right on the beach. The beach itself is not for swimming but more for shell collecting, rock pool exploring and relaxing.

Beautiful National Park campsite, tranquil and serene. Great shaded camping areas with room in most for caravans. Make sure you book well in advance as it's a popular site.
