I have been training in Soo Bahk Do since I was 6 years old (7 years). The instructors are very welcoming and helpful, so any question you’ve got about Soo Bahk Do, don’t be afraid to ask! The general environment in the Soo Bahk Do is loud and exciting, yes being loud is actually encouraged! If you are looking to enrol your child, there is the option of the kidz class every Saturday. I started of in the kids class and it has really improved my courage and fitness. Hope I see you all there! Soo Bahk!

I wanted my girls to learn and enjoy the martial arts as I did, to build their confidence. Unfortunately, now after two years because of an interstate move we had to say bye to all the wonderful instructors at this school. We were very lucky to get the best Masters. Both my kids love coming to Soo Bahk Do; the classes are lots of fun and the kids feels very happy after the training. And they include important teachings that help my girls to understand themselves and improve confidence. I absolutely recommend training in Soo Bahk Do, we believe it can shape a child very well. It helps with kids' mental and physical growth. The kids feel very safe and as a parent I trust the team completely. Thanks for looking after us so well.

Perth Soo Bahk Do has helped me immensely during my youth. I started classes when I was 6 and now I’m grading for my Dan (black belt) looking back I’ve seen how much it’s helped me, not only to defend myself but also to be better as a person. Perth Soo Bahk Do is perfect for all ages and helps build resilience and confidence in you. The instructors are very friendly and are there to help every step of the way.

When I first started training 25 years ago, I expected to learn how to defend myself, but I have gained so much more. I enjoy the feelings of empowerment, strength, and physical and mental discipline that comes from training. Training has made me a more resilient individual. As a woman, I feel more capable and confident in situations where I could be physically threatened. For my children, training has improved their physical coordination, strength, balance, and self-confidence. They are also learning self-discipline, respect for others, and leadership and assertiveness skills, all of which will help them as they grow up. I’ve been involved with the school for over 25 years and it’s a big part of my life and I’m grateful to share it with my kids and be part of a really great community.

My two children and my husband go to Perth Soo Bahk Do and we can't be happier. Frank and Eve clearly love what they do. It shows in the way they train and run their classes. Everyone loves going and it's great to see the kids excited about their classes every week.

This is a great Karate school for kids. I love that they focus on respect for family as part of teaching the kids discipline. My kids love that they get to do punching and kicking!My husband and I both work so we find it difficult to commit to a term of any activity. Perth Soo Bahk Do have a really flexible policy- you buy 10 classes and they have no expiry date! So we can still go away on weekends without losing classes. And the prices are very reasonable- far more than other activities we have considered. Highly recommend this school!

Instructors warmly welcomed me with open arms despite being an interstate visitor only able to attend a class. The class ticked all the boxes, I got a workout and the instruction was clear and concise. Can totally see how this can help with building confidence in and out of the classes for both kids and grown ups. Actually, I'm going to try fit another class in because I had so much fun. If you are on the fence, I'd say give it a go first.
