Picturesque campground amongst the pine and gum forest. Good views from the tracks. Well maintained campsites. Friendly wildlife including birds and kangaroos.

Barbecue and shelter were all we needed as we were on motorcycles. 3 k's of gravel road to access. Plenty of room.

Truly a hidden gem with much to see and do. Seaton's farm is a must. Mobile reception around the camp area is patchy. Okay for texts most of the time. Call reception is best at night. (Telstra 4G that is, 3G not so good). You do need to bring water and your own firewood. Fantastic birdlife. Gas barbecues are well-maintained, clean and do not require coins to operate. As is the case with all national parks there are no bins. Take your rubbish home with you. The best walks are up the gullies (Basin Gully to the Eualdrie lookout and Black Gin Gully both very good) but be very alert for the massive spider webs (and equally massive spiders) that span the trees along the track. The easiest walk is from the camp to Seaton's farm (about 500 metres). The walk to Ben Hall's cave is a nice little circuit with some stiff climbing on the first section. Much better on the way down with a made path and stairs. Do not try to enter the cave. The overhang is very precarious. Extremely tranquil and restful place. I spent three days there in late March and the weather was perfect. You do have to book a campsite through the NPWS website but the charge is minimal - $6 booking fee only. Grenfell itself, the birthplace of Henry Lawson, is also a lovely spot. Good amenities and a well stocked IGA in the main street for all your supplies.NOTE: The loop trail marked on Google Maps as Bertha's Gully Walking track is actually the loop trail up to Ben Hall's cave. The Bertha's Gully track is further south down the Seaton Farm boundary road. It is not a loop and is quite steep in parts.AND THERE IS MORE: I've added two photographs taken from the campsite with a 300mm telephoto lens that appear to show a strange dog like creature in a cave halfway up the cliff face. The resolution is too poor to determine if this is actually an animal (possibly a goat of which there are many in the park) or if it is just an optical illusion.

Just love going on the walking tracks There is quite a few of them there, so receconmend that you stay awhile like we did so you can take your time. Toilets are clean and airy(for long drops), table areas, free gas bbq.

This is a gem. Lots of sites, well spaced out, and all have picnic tables and fire pits. A couple of long-drop toilets (one at entrance to campground and one at far end). Lots of shady options. Only a few sites are suitable for caravans or trailers (mostly at entrance to campground). Only one covered area with free gas bbqs and a couple of tables and benches. Some good hikes and all leave from the campground. Take care on Lynch’s Loop in wet weather—the return hike (clockwise) crosses the creek and numerous rocks which get very slippery. Seaton’s Farm is accessible on foot via marked trail. No firewood is supplied at the ground so BYO or collect from the neighbouring state forest. Grey roos graze along the edges of the campground. Fabulously clear night skies for stargazing.

Absolutely amazing and peaceful. Made it in driving an AU Falcon and a motorbike. Only one other camper (very far away). Perfect for what we needed. Fire pits, tables, amenities within walking distance. Just gorgeous

Situated just below the hill, the campground itself is in very nice area. However… its a dead place, very poorly maintained. The campsites are marked but covered by overgrown bushes. Looks like no one comes here. We reached there at 1 pm but no one was there. Eventually we decided to move on as we didn’t feel safe to camp here.If you are coming from Grenfell 2 km road is unsealed followed by a deep ford. If you are coming through Brimbi 18 km road is unsealed. If you are planning to take 2WD or a low ground clearance vehicle be prepared for a challenge, crossing the ford without touching the ground is inevitable.Facilities available are. Drop toilet (toilet paper available). Marked campground. Fire pit available (but please check the local fire ban rules). Free campsiteTLDR.This is not a best place for family camping even though the site is nice. For adventure seeker and peace lover this is the best campsite in Weddin National Park as looks like no one comes here.

January 2021. Very impressed with this Park. Lot's of camping allotments, picnic tables, fire places, nice covered area with gas BBQ's. Lot's of shade. A great place to camp for the wildlife and bush walking. A well maintained park at my time of visit. No one else there on my Sunday visit. Lot's of walking trails, and Seaton's Farm was very interesting. The road in is very easy, only a few kilometres of dirt, suitable for any car, bike or caravan.

Nice flat camping area with basic shelter and bbqs. No running water when I was there. Some water further up the gullies. Excellent walks from here.

Love this campground, well maintained and clear campsites, space available for longer vehicles, does get busy, toilets are clean, water and power not available. Take the walk up to the cave for great views and Suttons farm also interesting. Follow signs for Ben Halls Cave.
