Read the past past reviews from this takeaway, thought i would try, bloody beautiful works burgers, chips and gravy. 5 stars and more, will definately be back. ❤

Ordered Medium chips and a piece of crumbed fish, it cost $15 or so which is decent. Had to wait over 40 minutes and at the end the chips were not crunchy and wasn't all that happy with the fish either. There were many other customers complaining they had ordered online or over the phone 40 minutes ago and there order had never even been put through so they had to wait another 40 minutes or receive a refund.Staff were apologetic, the serving of chips was generous not so much with the fish.Something needs to be done to prevent this happening in the future, or customers will not return.All the best in the future

Went here today to give them a go instead of where I would normally go, I was not disappointed!!! The food was really nice and very tasty, The service was above average, the gentleman who made my food heard as I was ordering it heard that I was diabetic and can't have sugar, he went out of his way to check the ingredients of the mayo and let me know that it contained sugar. I was very impressed. we loved our food so now I will be coming here for my food now. Well done to the new owners of the store, you are all fabulous, thankyou for the care you took with our food

We thought we'd try The Fish Inn with the new management.Unfortunately we had to throw most of it out. (While we were waiting, one other customer pointed out that the guy making the burgers was using his bare hands to put the salad on it. He also said: I hope he's washed his hands...)It is obvious that the new owners have never had a takeaway. Please guys, get some help as you won't last long - and we want you too!Brooke was lovely with customer service. Also, the place looks great with the new renovations guys.Very disappointing. Please get some advice from other takeaways or you won't be in business for long unfortunately.

Very good hot chips, didn't have to wait as long as expected, we asked for vinegar on our chips as well with chicken salt, and the vinegar came on the side in a tub. Perfect!

I tell you I had my doubts after reading some of the reviews. But my experience today was nothing short of exceptional. The two ladies behind the counter were nothing but helpful and very nice to talk to. I had to wait a bit for my order but they told me the waiting time when I ordered. We had a piece of fish each and a small chips. I could not fault the food. The fish was cooked perfectly and the chips were very nice and fresh. As a new person to the area this will become a regular place for me. To all the whingers, don’t go back and maybe I won’t have to wait so long next time. But in saying that I didn’t mind waiting for the quality food I got.

The fish inn has not improved at all since taking over new ownership, which is very disappointing. The chips are never cooked properly always soggy in oil, you ask for chicken salt but it’s barely there, the last time I ordered here I received a piece of raw fish and dirty chips and this time was no different. Instead of raw fish I decided to order a burger BLT the name says it all but where’s the lettuce? An essential in a BLT I’d say! Iv eaten at the fish in takeaway my whole life ‘piggy’s’ is what some locals like to call it. I’m ver sad that my daughter doesn’t get to enjoy the same experiences that I did.

Waited 25 minutes for the worst chips I have ever eaten. They tasted like bad potatoes and as if they had been cooked and then reheated. There's no seating while waiting for your food so you have to try and awkwardly sit on the edge of the garden bed. Burger was pretty average. For the prices they charged, disappointed is an understatement.
