Visiting family at Molongle Caravan park, researched to find closest mechanic with good reviews and Bowen Automatives popped up. Called up and explained that I have a Mercedes Sprinter Campervan and that the breaks feel ‘spongy’ and I can hear air as I press down on the brake. The lady on the phone (Leanne) laughed from the other end and said ‘isn’t Ayr closer?’I’ve called your company for assistance and it’s clear that you didn’t want to help travelling tourist?I shouldn’t have to explain myself that I would be driving back through the town of Bowen? Disappointed and unprofessional.

I called these guys around 5PM after having issues with my car, David had a look at my car and let me know he’ll fix it even though it was last minute. Leanne was kind enough to drop me home that evening and I had my car back before midday next day. The price was very reasonable. I’m very happy with their work. 100% recommend Bowen Automotive. I’ll be using them again

Thanks so much to Dave and the team at bowen automotive. Dave made time in his day to quickly scan my car and let know what was going on with it after I had a check engine light show on the dash. The service from this shop is great and I will definitely be back.

Great mechanic in Bowen. Managed to fix a fueling fault on my vehicle that big garages in Brisbane couldn't fix. Highly recommend. Extremely busy so you will have to book in advance.

We were passing through and called Bowern auto about engine light came on within an 1 hour we were told David would test it for us all good and we were right to go thanks David you are a gem most people told us to come back in a week and they would have a look thanks from Jean and Bill
