Great pub grub and friendly service. Perfect for a dinner stop after a full day skiing at Falls Creek with a late drive back to Melbourne. Healthy portions for hungry skiers, good selection of meals and good value.

Great country pub with better than country pub meals. Great selection of fresh tasty meals. 6 of us ate here on the day before Xmas, all thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. We were also given a tour of the whole place, with great original features still visible. Will definitely go back.

Had a great afternoon here, had great food and the waiters were very friendly! Especially the garlic bread is highly recommended, and there was a live show on Sunday! It was really a great Sunday afternoon!

We stopped for a couple of ciders and found a very hospitable publican at the hotel. He told us the history of the pub. It’s one of 11 hotels that hold a continuous license since 1884. Ned Kelly frequented this pub and hid at times in its cellar. What a wonderful piece of history and nice experience to have enjoyed a snipped of time in this beautiful old establishment. Loved it.

Surprisingly great food and big servings. Ordered: Caesar Salad, fish and chips, garlic bread. A little bit of a wait for our food, but well worth the visit! Lucky we found this next to a Tesla supercharger!

It’s a lovely pub and the food is delicious, we’ve been visiting for years, BUT the owners have gotten greedy. They book out more tables than they can ever look after, leaving you to wait upwards of an hour for your food. Yes they are short staffed and the staff are under pressure, but stop booking out so many tables if you have staffing issues. Keep it smaller and focus on giving good service instead of this nonsense. Very disappointing! Last time here for a while.

We had the chicken Parma and pasta carbonara which was a standout dish for me. They did tell us it was going to be a long wait for the food, as they were busy, and I appreciated the heads up. Drinks are reasonable, and you need to pay for your beer separately at the front. Nice that the Tesla superchargers are just next to restaurant

Very large meals. Chicken parmigiana was very fresh and succulent. Call them and Book firstly to get a table inside.
