Essence Salon & Spa

I've been a regular at Essence over the years, mostly for facials. However, I hadn't had a facial for awhile and the stress of work and the dryness on the Canberra winter was starting to show. I went in for a Sothys facial and eye treatment and came out relaxed, with plump, hydrated skin. I'm pretty sure I feel asleep during the massage while the mask was on! Even after two weeks, I could see the benefits with rejuvenated skin. I'm eager to return for further pampering and may try Omnilux.

Have just moved to the ACT and as we all know ; finding a beauty therapist in a new place is hard. Natasha was absolutely wonderful and I felt at home right away! I selected this salon as it used the products I'm used to (Ultracueticals....fantastic product!!!!). I've found my therapist and salon!! Can not recommend them enough!!!

So pleased to have found Donna at Essence Griffith. Her waxing technique is always gentle and flawless. Highly recommend Donna for all beauty treatments.

Just had the most relaxing Sothys facial with Mel! I have tried a few facials in canberras at the larger day spa's and this was better than any of those. Mel gives the best face and neck massages. I will definitely be back when I need to relax and rehydrate!

If you are looking to zen out for a couple of hours - cannot go past the daydreams package. Two hours of relaxing massage and facial. Came out floating on air.

Wow! Thank you for the most amazing facial i have ever had!!! I am a regular spa-goer and this salon knows skin! My therapist was so meticulous, professional & skillful she had me floating in a state of meditation. Thank you so much my skin is glowing! I will definately be coming back! ☆☆☆☆☆

Updated 19/02/21 - I want to update my review due to the the owner reaching out to me and we had a really good chat - I provided more detail which was not evident in my review and helped her gain more of an idea of my experience. Barbara was the opposite to my experience described below, I really appreciated her call and being able to chat without it being an argument of any kind - she listened to my genuine concerns and acknowledged my education/previous experience with the facial and products. I believe she will amend the situation below and ensure it not happen again.+++Really disappointing experience - firstly, when I made my facial booking I was assured that the voucher aligned to the facial I booked which it did not. The facial itself was very poor value for money with no massage, going for only 35 minutes, minimal product use and incredibly over priced. I am able to make this comparison as I have had dozens of this exact particular treatment previously at another salon (I have moved to Griffith so wanted to try this salon). When trying to redeem my voucher and willing to pay any fee gap (although disappointed in the facial), the gap was so large I mentioned this was inaccurate information when I booked - the therapist then argued with me with invalid information which did not make sense and there was a complete lack of customer service. I am incredibly disappointed when I had heard lovely things about the salon, I wish I had known of a review like this!

Essence is an amazing salon and spa. I recently went for a facial and loved it - great service, very relaxing and visible results. I'd recommend this salon to others.

Essence Salon & Spa is the perfect place to be pampered & relax. The service is always outstanding. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for waxing, skincare, and overall beauty needs.
