A huge thank you to Simon for the most amazing food and service for my 40th birthday celebration at Temple Farmhouse Byron. It was incredible and I honestly couldn’t think of anything that would have made it more perfect. I have been craving the lamb ribs ever since!Simon and Sarah were the perfect fit, relaxed friendly and engaging. Food was just outstanding. I would highly recommend.

Chef Simon from The Modern Kitchen helped me put together the most amazing catered private lunch for my birthday celebrations this year at Temple Farmhouse Byron Bay. Together, we developed an incredible menu and Simon made the whole process extremely easy - it all ran so smoothly. My guests raved about how delicious the food was and we had the best time celebrating over a wholesome, hearty, feast style lunch. There is nothing like sharing food with friends - it's such a beautiful way to bring people together to connect.Simon is wonderful to work with - he made me feel like nothing was too much trouble, including my complicated dietary restrictions. He did a lot of prep off site, so the time needed at the farmhouse kitchen was minimised. We were so well looked after by Simon and his team - I can’t thank them enough for making my birthday so special. We even organised for Simon to leave a beautiful grazing board and some pre-prepared meals for the next few nights so we wouldn’t have to cook - this went down really well.If you are looking for a private chef, I can’t recommend The Modern Kitchen highly enough. Thank you Simon for everything you did to create the most wonderful lunch and atmosphere for my celebration! I can’t wait to work with you again.

Simon catered for a private lunch for our family for a special birthday celebration. We were all so impressed with his service and presentation.
