Great experience here recently. The food was great, especially the Kway Teow and the Western Butter Chicken. Cold drinks and excellent service (with a smile) from the young lady from Taiwan. We will be back.

We saw the couple at next table really enjoying the dish and we will definitely order that next time.We ordered the Hawker's fried rice, fried noodles and Tofu and salted Mustard soup which are all delicious too.Apart from the savory dishes, Hawker Cuisine also offers a delightful dessert that is a crowd-pleaser - their Ice Kacang. I would consider it the best in Perth, this traditional Malaysian dessert is a medley of shaved ice, colourful jellies, red beans, and a generous drizzle of syrup, all topped with a dollop of creamy coconut milk. They are very generous in putting a number of lychees too. The ice is soft to the mouth and balance with the sweetness and creaminess in the Ice Kacang is just perfect, making it a refreshing and satisfying perfect dessert after the main dishes.The ambiance at Hawker Cuisine is vibrant and lively, with a bustling atmosphere that makes you feel like you're dining in the heart of Malaysia. Love the food at Hawkers. It's definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Perth. My kids favorite is the marmite chicken. I personally love the Japanese tofu. The best part is they have another brand Old Lane Eats that is also yummy.

I found the food heavy on the salt and sauce even though they day no added msg.You should probably try it though, it was a packed house and we had to wait 15 minutes for a table at 7.30pm on a Friday so it had many customers.The serving size and price was about par for Northbridge and service was friendly and efficient so no fault there.

Edit 12 Nov 2022Added the 'snack' menu and two pics of Three treasures and Assam curry fish dish.‐---------------I have been a Hawkers customer for a long time. Started in my uni days and now 16 years later roughly. They are back to their old location, behind the old shanghai northbridge. The owner is always very friendly. Always attentive. Atmosphere has always been great. Its the whole charm of the place, service and food. Came here for chinese new year yesterday. They had the lion dance and some of the old favourites were still great. Food came out quick. We had Fuzhou tofu, Hot and Spicy squid, Hot plate beef, Crispy Pork Belly, Fried spring chicken and Ice Kachang for dessert. They all were delicious. Thank you for a great night.

Had the nasi lemak with beef rendang and it was wonderful. The sambal could’ve been spicier but it was still good. The rice and rendang was on point!For the drink i had kopi-o. It wasn’t my style cos it had less condensed milk in it but overall it still is a great experience. Definitely will be coming back!

We ordered a few dishes and almost most need more salt/seasoning. Even the salt and pepper squids were lacking SALT. Food were super bland.

Book a banquet for Chinese New Year. Rather disappointing; the price was over the top, out of the 10 courses less then a handful were good, the order of the dishes coming out was all over the shop, then a mix up order and to top it off no plate to eat the desert.However the staff did try their best to accommodate us.
