Rainbow Nails

I took my daughter for a girls day to get our nails done together and it was such a disappointing experience for us both. We did not enjoy our time there at all, the lack of customer service was awful and I was totally convinced to get a colour I did not want. My daughters nails were chipping a few days later and my nails have snapped clean off aswell. We will never return.

Worst service Ive ever had. Will not be going back. Dodgey lines on my nail like it was smudged during drying. Girls very unfriendly and massage worthless on legs and feet. Paid $70 for rubbish.

Not relaxing. My daughter asked for manicure as well as pedicure. They did the mani the same time as Pedi, standing in between us so it was impossible to chat. Massage chair lasted 20 minutes (I'm guessing) with no offer of restart. Staff left their personal phones on and/or were working past their shift end (gleaned from overheard conversations). Prices average for Tweed Heads but more expensive than I'm used to (Canberra/Sydney).

Been twice now, pretty rude and overpriced for level of service. For gel removal she peeled the gel off my nails. Won’t be going back.

I’m so disappointed in the service I received, asked for a pedicure and SNS nails, worst experience ever. The so called deluxe pedicure, there was barely any massage of my feet, and they were lucky to be in the water for all of 2 minutes and it hurt so much as they kept cutting into my skin. The SNS is the worst application I have seen, a total waste of $100. No conversation from staff, I will never go back.

Left with my feet soaking for 15mins before anyone started my pedicure then that was rushed through. Have had better pedicures elsewhere.

Walking into Tweed City I was hoping to get my nails done at my usual place, ProfessioNAILS, but as they were booked out, decided to try the only nail salon that wasn't busy. That should've been the first warning sign for me. A gel/ shellac nail was advertised as $25 outside of the shop, and once mine was done, I was charged $30. I was thoroughly confused and when I asked about it, they said as it was because I was paying by card. Extra $5 is unheard of and definitely wasn't worth it. I wasn't asked what shape I wanted my nails to be, they as a default rounded them, or to what they believe is 'round'. There was gel polish put underneath my nails and over my fingers. The lady who did it also made no attempt to have a conversation and also was very rough with my hands, pushing and pulling them with no warning.Not a pleasant experience. 1/5.

Between ProfessioNails and Unique Nails (same owners) I prefer Unique Nails. Sometimes a wait but not if you book and make it clear u don’t want to wait. Affordable by comparison to other salons. Mostly polite but some people are offended by Vietnamese people speaking their native language to each other but I find they are all polite and try their best to speak English with you. I do request certain experienced technicians who know how I like my nails done, and I’ve been using both salons for 4+ years now.
