Not happy with King Furniture anymore either, in fact i am furious by the way they handle customer service. We recently purchased our third lounge from them only to learn that the “Magic Joiners” weren’t delivered with the lounge. Went to the store and inquired and have been told they would go out by mail. Nothing happened so went in again after the holidays just to learn that the “Magic Joiners” aren’t available anywhere in Australia at the moment.Would have been somewhat plausible or understandable if they maybe would have informed us (SMS, phone, email,…) instead of taking time off work and making several trips to their store in Chatswood.I am ticked off by the constant excuses (not only by King) that there are supply chain issues or lack of staff etc. Ironically there never seem to be any issues when you purchase something and the money goes straight off one’s bank account. Long story short, this was certainly our last purchase from King and I warn other potential customers to think about other options when it comes to buying furniture!!!PS: Do not ASK me again to contact you in order to rectify your appalling customer service!!!

I got a call 2 weeks before delivery. Agreed on the date and that it will be an afternoon delivery. Took half a day off work to be at home during the delivery window.Missed a call in the morning, 4 hours before the agreed time frame of delivery and said I missed the delivery and it won't be coming today.Called delivery" and was on hold for over 40 minutes only to be told they can't do anything but will try get in touch with the delivery company and get back to me. Couldn't even tell me whether I should wait for the delivery or just go about my dayPoor form. Not to mention the couch has already been delayed by over a month. Still don't have it."

I bought a Reo II Recliner and a king size Neo Bed late last year. I had goods delivered in December. I'm not complaining about the lead time as I work in a very similar industry and I understand the complexity in the international shipping and there really isn't too much they could do about it. The area that confuses me is the build quality of the Reo II Recliner. The metal components of this product cannot justify its price point in my opinion. The metal surface is rough and has rust spots since new. The sofa feels loose - not sure if it is an assembly issue or the manufacturing tolerance is just too much. Being in a similar industry, my gut feeling tells me that there may be some issues in either the QC procedure in China, or the material/manufacturer sourcing. If the price was at its half, I won't complain about anything, but the thing is that your are targeting a somewhere niche market with above-the-average pricing, I would suggest you to have your QC tightened up to justify your price.

Products are great but the sales staff are arrogant, rude and surly.They seem to think that identifying as a showroom not a shop" gives them an excuse for terrible customer service.Refused to tell me whether stock was available in the warehouse until I placed an order. Then when I placed the order they then confirmed (in writing) that the order would take 3 months to deliver.I waited 3 months

Disappointed is an understatement. Ordered couch September 22Arrived December completely wrong configuration. Bits missing. Bits broken, over supply of Bits. Sold phone charger table for iPhone ONLY. Specifically asked if Android compatible. Now she knows its not! The two ladies together had stuffed this order up.6 emails and countless phone calls, messages left for Chatswood manager,asking when the lounge will be fixed, items replaced, items refunded and returned.No responses. General support number have contacted them to call me me back urgently. Nothing.Today, Unfortunately, I have had enough. I called on be last time. She said she would have the manager call me back. Crickets. 5.13pm. I'm done. I need to not only recover my costs, but remedy what I have versus what I ordered and need. I will open a case with Fair trade, as soon as they are open for business.UNBELIEVABLE. Truly unbelievable. Not even a quick response to let me know they will get back to me. Nothing. Silence. Never have I experienced such poor quality service and product quality.

I have just updated my last negative delivery rating, having now received the goods. The products are of high quality and the delivery/installation team did a great job today. However, communication has been quite difficult with dispatch leading up to delivery. I recommend paying extra for a special delivery if you live in an apartment block and need a specific delivery time for use of the loading dock/lifts. Thanks to Rina and her showroom team at Chatswood for facilitating this delivery to happen, as booked by my building management. Your excellent customer service is much appreciated.

Bought 2 Roma bedside tables and have delivered today. Overheard the conversation of the delivery guys that something wrong with one of the bedside table but they still pretend nothing is wrong, put it down and left. Upon inspection, the drawer does not close properly and is not align. Hard to open and close. I did not believe this is actual quality of King Living furniture. I though they are high end but not anymore. I am so lucky, i only bought 2 bedside tables nothing more. Then i called the delivery guy, They said they can not take it back. Now I have to go back and forth with the customer service, ages of waiting and need to have another day off , if worse long waiting time. Please reconsider again when buying things from them.

We purchased our lounge set from King Living Chatswood. It took nearly 5 months to arrive. When they made the delivery and assembled it, one part didn’t fit properly. As such, the extension mechanism of the lounge didn’t work. Neither did the charging table. The coffee table too had a lopsided top. Basically, if you put your coffee on it, it would topple. The technician who came, raised a ticket through the “internal” system and informed us that “customer service” will be in touch. When we didn’t hear from them, we called to follow up. The lady across the phone apologised and wrote an email to customer service. They in turn sent us an email saying they will be in touch with us. Since then, we have had no response to emails or phones. After paying a whole lot of money and waiting several months, we don’t have a proper lounge. No response, No refund. It’s an absolute shame. There is no excuse for treating people this way. We sincerely regret purchasing from them.

They just sell the product and don’t care about after sales service.Arranged and paid for deluxe delivery. We live in a house on a one way street with heaps of street parking.After the delayed scheduled delivery date by 2 weeks, the delivery driver refused to deliver the sofa on the rescheduled date again!!!!The reason was because we did not wait for him on the street to deliver the sofa. I spoke to him on the phone and he was extremely rude. He said he was arriving soon in a few minutes but I was also on the phone with him after 10 minutes and he still had not arrived. He demanded that we wait on the street for him but I told him we cleared the front of our house for him and there were 4 empty car spots sufficient for him to stop his truck. I also said you can stop across our 4 metre wide driveway too. We have a huge driveway. Once he arrives , he can press the bell or just give us a call and we can let him in.He then hung up and blocked my number and he never drove over to attempt delivery . Instead he just decided to cancel our delivery. We have photos of our driveway and empty frontage that we kept vacant for his arrival.This is unacceptable and king living doesn’t assist. No one on the phone can help and all they can do is call the driver and see when it can be rescheduled.They don’t care about you once they’ve taken your money. If you want to avoid a headache don’t buy from them!!!!UPDATE 28/04 ---In fact, before I left the google review, I already emailed their customercare@kingliving email address which I saw is their standard response to Google reviews. BUT, never ever got a reply or contact from them directly. Just disregard their google review replies because they do this on the public platform for show but don't actually follow up with the customer.I will continue to update this as my furniture is now lost and we don't know when it will be delivered, if ever.

I purchased a recliner from them and the power adapter is missing on delivery so the recliner doesn't really recline" . I then called their customer service and they said they'll get in touch - no response. I then call the store and they told me to call customer service. I then called customer service again and they said they'll get in touch and of course no response whatsoever. Based on the other reviews I've read here
